Actually its owned and brewed by the Schell's Brewery out of New Ulm Minnesota. It was bought in 2000. And still carries the old time tradition. Schell's is the second oldest family owned brewery in the US. They recently brought a new line to the Grainbelt family Grain belt "nordeast". Done a great job on it.

The narrator's unmistakable voice is that of William Conrad, who occasionally worked on commercials inbetween acting assignments and TV series {"CANNON", "NERO WOLFE", "JAKE AND THE FATMAN"}. Grain Belt was [and still is] a regional brew, primarily available in Minnesota (brewed in Minneapolis).

The payoff at the end of all these Grain Belt ads was always a horrible pun (ex.: "Justice of the PIZZA!" or the one given here, "Frank 'n' Stein").
