@naveenk2514 try rotling pen..its only good available cheap calligraphic pen in India ..but ink is the problem camil or chelpark is not good for calligraphy :(

Hi! Just asking. Since fountain pens cant write copperplate, what other elegant writings?? If you could tell me groups, what? I really like cursive with loops and stuff. And oh, what do you think is the best size of a fountain pen for beginners? I wanna buy a Parker one. I am 13 and I love cursive but I can't do it elegantly.

This is inspiring on a number of levels. First, I am a beginner and this video brings together something very old with something very new... the art (old) and the music (new). It is like a marriage of a time gone by arisen to make love to the present, a beautiul transcendant poem. Never mind the quality of the music or the penmanship. That is not what this is about ... it is about a connection of earth, air, fire, and water, flowing from the spirit of the painter.

I agree with NCQUEEN9, except it's more like handwriting, cursive with attempted flourishes, and I wouldn't say "awful", just not as much time or effort spent on it.

Scripts actually take much more time, patience, and discipline. If he were to spent the time to learn fundamentals and learn what needs to be learned, and use the right materials, he like anyone could develop a very nice hand.

He needs to hold the pen farther down, and pull down with hand not arm, becuz doing that with spring it.
