@TheMartielover Humpty Dumpty is much better than Why Me. I still can't fathom out how Why Me won.  One of the most mediocre ballads in Eurovision history and quite poorly performed on the night. This is a good song beaten by a rather weak one.

I'll never forgive Portugal for the final vote in '84. It was as horrible to watch then as it is now. Johnny Logan famously wrote this song in 20 minutes on the back of an envelope at London Heathrow's Terminal 3 whilst he was waiting for a delayed flight. Far superior to the Herreys rubbish that won. Unfortunately the juries have a history of voting for saccharine bile.
