I doubt any of them have sounders in them but I could be wrong. These are system smokes. The only one I think may have a sounder in it is the ESL one shown at 0:25. I have 2 BRK 2824 (seen at 1:10 mine don't have the slots on the "top" near the test slot) and I don't recall the manual mentioning anything about a sounder in them.

The hospital in my city has some of these as part of a Simplex voice-evac system, but they are labeled as ADT. They're most likely being replaced with newer Simplex TrueAlarm smokes.

This particular ESL model is a 1025C. It has the twist-on base. Other models had a plug-in base.

All of these smoke detectors are mine - either refurbished by me, or they were removed when I worked on upgrade or new install jobs.
Also note: NONE of these smokes have sounders.

I have one of these "Simplex" labeled models, too. I've also seen these stamped with the names "GS/Edwards", "FCI", and "Aritech".
