  • At 7:12 you can see John in the crowd of people.

  • :´(

  • ugh my least favorite part about the beates, the end.

  • "And, in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." Gets me every time.

  • The Best band ever, the best era ever, the best story ever..will never happen again, feel so blessed to have been part of that time :-)

  • I have now watched the WHOLE anthology! I'm proud of myself:)

  • "Here Comes The Sun" is pure happiness put in a song.

  • @dougalmac54 fuck you douche bag

  • Has anyone noticed how in interviews (still 2 this day) that Paul is usually always doing something with his nails? like picking them or biting them? :D

  • the Beatles didn't "break up" they still all love each other and care 4 one another. They just stopped making music

  • Oh John....the Beatles are so much more than "just a sock group." So. Much. More.

  • @dance4ever231 I think if John was alive today he would see things a bit differently. He would understand and accept that he apart of something ground breaking that changed the world.

  • 7:07 Pauls decapitated head PAUL IS REALLY DEAD!

  • @mtrj99 Oh for God's sake, STFU! Imbecile.

  • 3:42 to 4:00................... Is that true?

  • What's up with the car crash? Paul's death? Paul didn't die...

  • @JammerZice from the song a day in the life,I think,listen to it :)

  • @claudilovesmakeup Yeah I figured it out. I already know that song, trust me I know more about Thr Beatles than you.

  • @JammerZice I'm sure you do sweetheart ,I was just answering your question, you know, the one with all the question marks?yea,no need for the rudeness,k?

  • i like to be under the sea...

  • Wahhhhhhhh...min 4:43

  • The best band of all time

  • Cry forever

  • I could have sworn they talked about John's death in the anthology; did I miss it?

  • @LyricalXilence No, they only talked about their time as Beatles. And since John's death was 10 years after they broke up, it wasn't talked about.

  • @chrissalyn81 Not true, really. Free as a bird was done for the anthology(real love, too) and those were "beatles songs"they did say something like Julian and Sean would be sad,in case the beatles got together again, which is almost like mentioning his death

  • @albuorkka This comment makes no sense to me. It's clear if you look at the Anthology as a whole, no one talks about relationships or careers or anything else (including John's death) AFTER they broke up. And where in the Anthology was Julian's (let alone Sean's, since he was born in the 70s) feelings of a reunion ever brought up? All of that may be OpEd stuff from the press or whatever, but not within the Anthology itself, which is what I was responding to.

  • @chrissalyn81 While that is true, Paul even said himself that they somehow got together again for "Free as a bird". And Julian and Sean is mentioned 4:33-4:35, Paul says "I feel sorry for them". They are talking about band reunion at the present time(when the anthology was made). It's made quite clear in their conversation. Of course, since only 2 songs were made after the 60s,it's natural this anthology mainly concentrates on that period of time.

  • the last montage made me cry......

  • free as a bird? which one is this?

  • @TheTrollKing123 haha you suck at trolling.

  • T_T

  • The end of the Beatles was a sad day for the planet. The only sadder thing were the deaths of John and George

  • i think i could name most of the songs shown in the free as a bird video but some i couldn't get. I wonder what would've happened if Brian didn't die when he did

    I love the Beatles

  • I agree it's sad. Someone once said that this was one of the tightest constructed album of the Beatles as the band was falling apart and Let It Be was a fiasco to work with. I was only 5 years old when the band broke-up. As I was growing up, the group felt like if they were a relative that you loved even though the band no longer existed.

  • what is the next video, I can't find it... someone please, post the note

  • Did you see the Blue Meanie on the roof at 8:03? So fast I almost missed it.

  • @56Veggie oh yea i saw it. At first i was like woahhh what was that !! :D

  • @TheTrollKing123 fuck u bitch

  • Thank you for posting the entire anthology Excessaccess! Greatly appreciated! The Beatles = The Best of All Time

  • whts the song at the end?

  • The footage of that last photo session on the 22nd of August is rather sad to watch. They don't look very happy. I believe it was then on the 5th of September that John told them he was leaving the group.

  • 7:15 ... is like they talked about paul's dead???? ... please somebody explain this to me..

  • @MyragDoll91 this scene is talking about a day in a life

  • what's the song called 3:47 ? please tell me!!!!!

  • @Katsnjammer cme on man thats the end! great song with that famous mistic phrase!

  • @Katsnjammer Its called The End.

  • I just finished watching the entire anthology. Truly great stuff, and I just want to thank excessaccess for posting this whole thing on here. I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you gave me a chance to see this thing, start to finish. Thank you.

  • it's only a rock group.. oh John.. I dearly admira you but you dont have idea you were so wrong.. it actually was the end of the world

  • @Lutoniro LOL I had the exact feeling, but I understand, it is a rock band after all....thought they don't realize that they mean the world to most of us...so much... we continue to love them until the end of our days...ahhhhh.....

    (sorry to get too emotional)

  • the fact that they got through all the drama and made Abbey Road says to me they could have went on for even longer

  • if paul had said it or george, i wouldn't be moved at all i wouldn't think. it wouldn't seem sincere. but ringo's about to have a breakdown. it's like he just came to terms with it after all those years in that one moment. very very sad and honest.

Unlike George and John, who can sometimes play down things. And Paul would say anything to keep his name looking good in lights. I'm a John fan, but so many people say Ringo had a heart bigger than the Dover Cliffs.

    Old friends. Bookends.

  • Boy, please tell me I'm not an idiot for sitting here and crying like a baby, I just, sigh, love them so much but all things must come to an end and at least let's be glad that their last record was a fantabulous one, Abbey Road will always be my favorite for so many reasons. Long live to the best rock band this world will ever see and God bless these 4 amazing men, R.I.P John and George and let's thank God we still have Paul and Ringo =)

  • @fifiesponja07 You're not an idiot. I will always miss the anticipation of waiting for a new Beatles record to come out and the amazing reward you would get when you heard Rubber Soul or Revolver or Sgt. Peppers. The music would just blow you away. Just when you'd think they'd hit a peak, the new record would show you you hadn't heard anything yet. In the 60's a huge segment of the baby-boomer generation grew-up and came of age with The Beatles. They were universal in their appeal.

  • Pretty good documentary. As long as it was, there are a few things that I wished they would have flushed out a little bit more.

    1) John Lennon's early days with the Quarrymen (pre-Paul, George)

2)The partnership of Lennon-McCartney when they were both still in school

    3)Their struggles before Hamburg

4)Hamburg- one of, if not the most important part of the Beatles story and my personal favorite thing to read about in Beatle books, tons of great stories

5)Brian Epstein- His story is crazy

  • ABBY ROAD FTW!!!

  • I know people are going to laugh at me but I cried. This is so moving. Ringo: "Four guys who really loved eachother", so touching.. The Beatles will live on forever:)

    Proof; Im 17.

  • when ringo talks of the love between him and the other 3 is real touchin,..to be clise to 3 people like them was special as it was, never mind bein in the beatles,..

  • Even when they were breaking up they were closer than most groups and shared a bond that never left. They argued a lot but they were close.

  • I think Abbey Road is a masterpiece that reflects their entire library and nicely wraps up and fully completes the phenomenon of The Beatles.

  • this makes me cry so much, and everyone thinks i'm stupid for crying, but i think it's extremely sad

  • @mollehhhx being a human being and being in touch with your feelings is nothing to be embarrassed about...it's just a testament to how much The beatles music was and is able to touch people in a universal way. It was a glorious time, and the music will always remind those of us who appreciate The Beatles of that.

  • @mollehhhx "you are not only one"

  • @mollehhhx

When the song started that night on abc here in los angeles ,I cried and my then 3 year old didnt understand why.He now performs their music with me .We both play guitars. He sounds like George when he talks.

but looks like ringo..lol.I need my own studio.I remember when they were on someones roof when I was 7.

  • @mollehhhx i know i start to tear up

  • @mollehhhx especially the guitar solo is so sad

  • @mollehhhx I cry too -- especially because it wasn't just a breakup because they were arguing so much

  • @mollehhhx I cry too. You are not alone.

  • @mollehhhx

Whoever thinks you're stupid for crying at this is an imbecile and dosen't know real music.

  • @mollehhhx Like John said, shut up and go listen if you want to reminisce :)

  • @mollehhhx But life goes on >:xwdq2eqe

  • The beautiful thing about this Free as a Bird "videoclip" is the way the references are in there, and there´s really a lot of them. Someone who doesnt know a thing about the Beatles doesnt realize, but every single one of their landmarks is there... and some minor ones too.

    Its beautiful, for a fan.

Probably a bit random for someone else.

  • shut the hell up

there taking about 4 best friends having fun, ur the gay one

  • gracias por los videos

  • 7.08 an image that some people say is Paul dead...¿would be paul's face when he died in a car accident? I'm just wondering, guys...No offence.

  • The car is a refference to the song A Day In The Life.

  • come on, that was a joke of beatles maybe you are 12 years old, dont know nothing about Beatles

  • Free As A Bird is the best "ELO' song ever. Think about it.

  • True, but it's a circular argument, since Jeff Lynne was trying to make ELO sound like the Beatles.

  • Excelente!!

  • yea same

  • I thought Abbey Road was released before Let it Be.

    I'm confused.

  • It was released before in fact, but Let It Be was recorded before. I believe it was release later because of the film footage to be edited

  • I get it now. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • how does the greatest band ever decide to stop making music together?

i forget which one said it, that elvis had only himself while the beatles had each other to lean on. it's also what made the beatles break up.

  • Even the healhiest, most loving relationship eventually ends in death. Sobering. If all of the Beatles had lived I believe they would eventually have decided to come together to make music again. Now 2 of the 4 are gone. Our lives here on earth are not eternal, but our mark on the lives of our loved ones are. The Beatles gave the whole world their love. . . .let it resonate forever.

  • this is probably the best comment ive ever seen on youtube, never thought i would see something insightful from a youtube comment O_o

  • i love the end

  • It sucks thast John isn't there jammin w/ these guys.

  • neither is George

  • My bad, I was really talkin about when they were playing guitars in the studio messin around & outside on the lawn,...obviously before George passed on,...But they could still get together & play the music everybody loves with Harrisons son, Dahni & John's son,..Sean. I'd love to hear what they sound like.

  • Yeah, I hear johns son sounds exactaly like him and Georges son looks like a clone : )

  • PERFECTO

  • qe cancion es la de 5:14

  • Free As A Bird

  • It's just proper. if you're wearing a suit and getting a picture taken. there's pictures of army commanders from Civil War times doing it too.

  • Paul wrote it!

  • who wrote that last phrase? "and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make" someone told me that George

  • John sings it, I'm sure Lennon wrote it!

  • it was Paul

  • whats the car accident scene all about in the free as a bird vid?

  • First verse in A Day in the Life - "He blew his mind out in a car, he didn't notice that the lights had changed"

  • of course im familiar with a day in the life... but ask yourself who blew their mind out?.... was it paul? its known that he drove that same ashton martin. i think its a conspiracy. look up that series on youtube called the rotten apple... wierd shit.

  • it's from the song "a day in the life"

  • i dont hate john lennon

but he went all emo in the end of beatles

i lieked him in the old black and white era

  • on behalf of the citizen of the future earth where love is the only currency, hunger is a memory, and war is non-existent, IF YOU EVER SPEAK ILL OF JOHN WINSTON LENNON IN A PUBLIC FORUM EVER AGAIN IN YOURE LIFE MAY YOURE CHILDREN GROW UP BEING LIFE LONG MILEY CYRUS FAN CLUB MEMBERS!!!!!!!......you've been warned....

  • talk down about me again

and your kids shall be rick rolled for all eternity

    you have been warned

  • nobody deserves that

  • Ringo comes across unbelievably human in this series, especially in the later episodes. You hear tales about how he treated his wives, but I can only comment on what I know of him, and he seems to be an amalgamation of all the best qualities of the other three. He has George's acerbic, dry-as-the-Sahara wit, sensitivity and humanity; he has Paul's geniality and "the show must go on" showbiz attitude, and he also has John's sense of the absurd and childlike nature.

  • That's what I always liked about Ringo. He almost never fit the "drummers are insane" stereotype, in music or in interviews.

  • What tales of how he treated his wives?

  • Straight from the horse's mouth: "I trashed Barbara so bad I thought she was dead. They just found her covered in blood and I'd beaten her up and I'd no idea" Then again, Paul and John have both been accused of being wifebeaters at certain times, too.

  • Well this explains a lot..."By 1988, they were in real trouble,as a friend explained:

"Their biggest problem was alcohol. They've both been drinking heavily every day for years. Ringo and Barbara also are cocaine users. Ringo had been snorting up to a gram of coke a day and Barbara said she'd been using about half a gram daily. "

  • "He also smoked marijuana every day and used hallucinogenics, mushrooms and downers. Ringo said that since they'd been married virtually all they've done is sit in a room and use drugs. Barbara revealed that it was the number one priority in their lives - more important than family, more important than each other, more important than anything. Both said they were convinced they were gonna die unless they got help."

  • After that quote about him beating up his wife, the article says, "He immediately decided it was time they sorted themselves out and got Bach to book them into a rehabilitation clinic. Ringo was so paranoid from his coke use that he refused to let her out of his sight for a minute, so the couple insisted on being in the same room at the start of the treatment (which no treatment center would allow)."

  • I think I can forgive him for that. As a fan I'm very dissapointed to find this out. But he was obviously influenced by drugs and was not aware of it. He and his wife are still together, so it's a good sign that love conquers all. It was not like he was a Chris Brown who did it on purpose. Ringo was high on drugs and heavily influenced.

  • Heather Mills accused Paul so definately not true. Paul wouldn't lift his hands to a woman,

  • @jim25shwp screw that raw-boned bitch. she was never good for paul and every interview I saw her in with or without paul, I couldn't figure the attraction. She a real nasty bitch.

  • 3:42 is the beginning of the end... of the end... if you know what I mean... ?

  • you mean the ending of the end =)

  • Well, its the beginning of the ending of the end

  • lol

  • emocionante final.

  • i beatles we be in are hearts for ever long live the beatles

  • What stars where aligned for those four talents to have lived in the same city, then get together and for a band... Destiny I assume... G P and J will go down as 3 of the top 5 men in Rock history as far as I am concerned... there;s probably a lot of arguments against that... but what they did is truly staggering

I like to compare them to Bobby Orr in the NHL haha... short time together yet so much greatness accomplished... so many influenced...You can't keep talent like that together... too bad

  • The Beatles were amazing and ahead of thier time 5/5*

  • ¤º°¨ ¸„ø¤º°¨„ø¤º°¨°º¤ø„¸¨°º¤ø„¸¸„ º¤ø„¸

  • So beautiful, Made me cry! Paul, George John, Ringo forever.

  • :'( I love beatles forever

  • I've cried at the end...

  • me too :(

my parents must think i'm nuts right now..

  • Emotive..... The Best band of the history

  • it's seems like the beatles were bound to end. Their success seemed to get to them somehow. They weren't together for as long as some other bands from that period. But, just the fact that they were soo popular and successful that they had to stop live performing, shows that their time was limited.

  • at 1:25 there showing photos from 1968 im sure!

  • the best band of all time :-)

  • Wow.

That's all I have to say.

  • damn...everytime I'd seen Free as a bird-clip...I'd wheaped..and again.

  • I love all the unfit people who love the Beatles! Greetings and thanks for the video! HolmInsel From Berlin/Germany

  • Who are you calling unfit? People who are out of shape? People with deformities? People who are mentally unstable?

  • They exemplified what is missing from popular art these days -- what is good and admirable about mankind. Love. Peace. Kindness. Compassion. Music that put into words the ideas that make us better. Give us a chance to improve.

Rebellion is not the answer, unless it's to rebel against the evil of mankind. Not one side or the other.

  • Totally agree!

  • I didn't realize how many Beatles songs were stolen and performed by other bands

  • What do you mean?

  • like on k-mart commercials they have other bands doing hello goodbye

  • i like 1:45

  • it's called "Come Together"

  • Allen Klein was a lousy piss-poor manager.

I would have blown his arm off with a rifle.

  • Thanks for uploading this. Brought tears to me...

  • A touching, sensitive video of 'Free as a Bird' at the end. Thanks for putting it up.

  • BEATLES SONGS 4 EVER!!!
