You may not always be aware of it, because you haven't seen everyone do standup, or watched their DVD's, but everyone does this. But i do see the point of mixing in some new stuff, and he probably should of done that. I think the only part that's weird here is that when he finishes the joke, he pauses ackwardly, instead of helping the transition from joke to joke.
