I'm a bit disappointed that the same intro for Mac OS X Lion is the same as Leopard and Snow Leopard. Just saying. All three OSes are still good though!

Try to do a clean-install of your current OS, see what happens. But back up your data. Thats unusual man!

You can do a clean install from the Snow Leopard upgrade dvd. Just boot from it, go to disk utility and reformat it. Clean install in 45mins.

I only had like minor problems with snow leopard but i did the a clean install and a did the 10.6.1 update now everything is working fine. am glad that everything went well for you.
