They don't tour extensively anymore but they always come back to their 2nd home, where they've been selling out shows for 30 plus years. Here in Detroit, the J.Geils band is passed down from generation to generation like Red Wings hockey. This year marked the 12th time I've seen them and from the 1st show, till this one, they still ripped the roof off the place!

blow your face out is one of the best recordings ever, made loud to play loud. there were no grooves left on the album, the 8 track was trashed, the cassett didn't have a chance and I am still cranking the cd. They may be from Boston but they will always have a home in Detroit even if they don't want it.
