I got an Alienware, Rebuilt the case, Moved the electronics around so I could make the case half the normal size, and then added a water cooling system with some pumps and rubber pipes I found in my garage, then added another 2 gig ram. am I still a noob? :P

Over priced? total price spent- 1,360 dollars or so (only 600 for the shitty computer which I made awesome), and it runs better then my friends computer with the best retail graphics card in the world. and his is an alienware that he bought for 2,500 dollars.

@GeneralMustang8 Those were the OLD Doomsday Devices, they only did about 47k damage in a 50Km radius (70k damage and 250Km radius w/ lvl 5 skills) that's why a ship explodes half the video. As oposed as the new Doomsday Devices that do 2M (2 million damage). But you can only do it towards a single target. So 24 Doomsday of those days at lvl 5 only did at most 1.68 million damage. That's less than a single titan of these days.

You can join a single-player faction and fight for it either alone or with others that also signed up for a single-player faction. EVE used to be very boring when playing alone without a corporation (like a clan/gang), this has changed a lot. I'd say check it out, the game-client is free for download. And anyone can start a 14 trial. Good luck. ;)

@ragw33d IDK if this is still the case, but getting money should be easy. Especially in trade. ~100bil can take a while, but it's nothing one with intelligence can't handle. Titans used to be hard to get, simply because getting a blueprint is hard to get too. If they are now sold off of conveyor belts (so to speak), all it requires now is money and time (time for money and skills).

@SuicidalFerret It's been a while for me too. My father still plays it. Since they added neural remapping initial training should be easy. IDK if this is still so, but as new member your allowed to have you neural remapping done twice. So the first time I would set it up to Increase Intelligence and Memory to train your Learning skills and all other beginner skills that require these attributes. When your done, remap to Willpower and Perception for a year of intense weapon and ship training.

@SuicidalFerret What and when you do is mostly impacted by your corp or lack thereof. In pvp in particular you could be useful in the smallest, most easiest to acquire ships if someone is guiding you through it. The thing is pvp can be expensive because you lose ships. Heres just an example I saw just recently /watch?v=ymdSjCYK_PI&feature=r­elated granted this is a rare case, the ships annihilating the giant one are affordable and easy to train for. A few friends in game would help overall
