Sorry I deleted so many of my previous posts. I still carry a lot of anger because I believe our American family court systems are chartered with prostituting justice, shredding the families of small children for profit, striking terror of injustice into the hearts of the faithful and using it to extort hundreds of dollars per hour in protection money like a Mafia thug profiting from prolonging injustice. It's made a real whorehouse of hypocrisy, theft, cowardice, and narcissism of the USA.
@danieljdick Then when the increase in value from the home and retirement are liquidated and the faithful are left homeless, childless, and penniless, our nation TAXES them on the losses. How damnable is that? No wonder our nation is so very cursed these days, and rightfully so individually and as a nation. If we lack the integrity and spine to fight against this unilateral no-fault divorce legislation FIERCELY, then we deserve to have our families and our lives shredded! Well??? Hello???
@danieljdick Now, did my anger cause my divorce ten years ago, or did the divorce cause my anger? It depends. If you're honest about my personal history, the anger started when it was caused by external circumstances, and it is reasonable, normal, and actually obligatory considering the injustice and threat this injustice holds over the heads of our children and others. But, if you're looking for a convenient lie to support no-fault, my anger must obviously have caused the divorce.
@danieljdick If someone rapes and murders your child, is it caused by your anger? Of course not. Is your anger reasonable? Well, yeah. What about when your spouse shreds your family for a roll in the hay? What if your spouse plays one lover against another to see who will indulge their narcissism more? Isn't that being a whore? Judgmental? What about judging God and family and children unworthy of love and faithfulness? People who love their children don't shred their families.
@danieljdick When the faithful are robbed of children and used as cash cows, the unfaithful see a chance to enjoy the income of two partners--one as a lover and the other as a slave. When the faithful are robbed of children and used as cash cows, men go on the prowl for housewives to steal. Many of our soldiers at war lose their wives, children, homes, and pensions this way. Interesting way we treat our soldiers and our faithful in AMERICA. Isn't it? That's you. Isn't it?
@danieljdick This narcissistic divorce and adultery correlates statistically with suicide rates across multiple cultures. Teen suicides rise. Gang membership, violent crime, teen pregnancy, academic failure, future marital failures come from this. And it won't be fixed with communication skills alone. Often counseling is a catalyst for unhappiness and divorce. What's needed is good coaching from a counselor who actually saved marriages. Michele Weiner-Davis is one.
@danieljdick Beyond this, we need to lay the axe to the root of unilateral no-fault divorce. I'm starting a sincerity marriage site to set up covenants couples can enter into. They may not be legally binding, but I hope they show up in court anyway and in churches and everywhere to take a stand against the cowardice of unilateral no-fault divorce, against prostitution of justice, against hurting the faithful and their children for profit or for a roll in the hay.
I am presently threatened with divorce and my husband holds so much resentment toward me because I spend a lot and he saves EVERYTHING. I spend because he doesn't have sex with me and he doesn't have sex with me because I spend. It's a vicious cycle. Anyway, I can't seem to change his mind about divorce. He said there was no force that would change his mind at this point. I am so sad. I realize now that you never miss your water until your well runs dry.
Now here is my question Mr. Rosen, why do couples not discuss this issue BEFORE marriage? It's not like they were forced to marry each other. Don't they talk about communication, money, or...why would someone marry an addict?
Sadly people divorce either because they are being abused. Being cheated on, or just don't want to be married. Those are the three main reasons. I don't believe in divorce unless it really, really warrants it. People need to seek counseling and prayer. Before the consequences are far greater in divorce. It isn't just you can divorce and let it go. Think about the children involved in this. Take them into consideration.
This video is very useful.Without communication no relationship can be effective. Keeping your resentments simmering within, your partner does not come to know what is happening with you and this is likely to create distance between you and your partner.Couples counseling can often advise couples on how to
Well spoken and researched video. Drug addiction and money issues go hand in hand bringing down a marriage - that I can tell you from experience! Lee is on target with those points!
I agree with Lee on trying to reconcile before running to court for a divorce. Sometimes it works, but if it doesn't you can learn much about your self and what you really expect in a relationship.
A very informative video. It's all quite basic and should be common sense but it's surprising how often these basic points slip our mind and the next thing you know is that you're on your way to your second divorce. We all know that communication is key to every relationship but no matter how much that's drilled into us we just try to avoid it whenever we encounter problems in our relationships. Thinking it's better to just be in denial and hope things will work themselves out in due time.
Great video, I agree with other posters who have said that Mr. Rosen's words make things easy to understand and keep things under control in the situation. That is something we need more of, keeping things in control, instead of so many people getting divorced and trying desperately to destroy the other persons life, which is why I really like what he said about immaturity.
Mr Rosen should be a marraigae consulor as well as a divorce attorney. He has a way of putting at ease and in a divorce you need to have things not elavated to status that you can't handle. Commitment is a big priority. Sex should never be a reason for divorce. Learn how to handle yourself and things in this area will work out.
This video was very impressive to me because of how much of the marital problems i recognized within the marriages of my own family members. My dad and stepmom are currently dealing with most of the problems if not all. This video is very helpful and coudl truely help some couple realize their relationship is in trouble and what to look for before it is too late.
This video is very much interesting and informative. From this video i realized that a good communication between the spouses will be the solution for all the disputes between them.from this i got a clear idea about the main problem between the spouses and how it could be avoided.Lee Rosen provided good ideas to avoid problem between spouses. This give the clear picture that pure love and good communication can avoid all sort of problems.
I was very surprised by the top reasons for divorce, and that adultery was not one of them. In a way though, I guess it makes sense, since if there was a better line of communications open between spouses, the reasons that cause adultery would diminish greatly, so that just reinforces what I learned long ago, keeping up good communications with your spouse is very important.
Clearly, this guy knows what he's talking about. I'd much rather take advice from a lawyer who deals with this kind of stuff every day than someone bitter, or recently divorced. Luckily, I'm not married so hopefully I won't have much use for any of this information any time soon.
I had many difficulties in my marriage and almost in the state of going to court.I thought about the causes due to the impact from the video. Now I have completely left that idea and now I am having a happier life.I will never forget this moment in life.
Lee Rosen gives some good advise and items to really think about if you want to make your marriage work. Some of it is obvious, but are very true and things both partners need to realize and continually work on to make their union work. Some very helpful items here.
Lee Rosen offers straightforward and excellent advice on saving marriages. I'm about to get married this fall and I do not want money to be a problem for the two of us. The immaturity bit is really sad, as that ruins the sanctity of marriage. Rosen doesn't have to do this, as it could hurt his own business, but he is doing a great thing here.
This video gives great information. The communication gap that exists between the partners is the main cause of divorce. Its great to watch a lawyer giving advice to keep the relations intact. The information provided is very clear and to the point. The video has been beautifully presented by the Rosen Law Firm. Keep up the good work!!
Useful info, Lee seems to be most authorised person to talk about divorce/marriage. I totally agree with his points of view, communication and money are very important. Immature people shouldn't marry so early.
I believe this man is completely correct. Communication is very important in relationships. It is true that most of divorced couples had a communication problem. Also, money is big issue, not only in financialy poor couples, same thing happens both to poor and rich couples. I've seen many to divorce because of addictions, definitely big problem, especially alcohol and cigarets.
The video is very much informative. The speaker is very clear and legible .he makes us understand the concepts very well.Excellent information. Thanks. I had no idea that a divorce could be settled without ever going to court. I always thought a court appearance was required. I appreciate your help.
This video was chock full of new information for me. I never understood how many options were available to couples with relationship trouble besides divorce. Kudos to the Rosen Law Firm for taking the time to disseminate this information.
It's been a difficult period in my marriage, and I've been researching causes for divorce as I myself am weighing in on the pros and cons of getting a divorce. I think that this is a great resource coming from an expert in divorce, a divorce lawyer. However, it was very unbiased and even had suggestions for a positive and optimistic outcome. Well done.
Your video is great with really useful information for married couples. The reasons cited by you for breakup of marriages are true - communication, conversation and interaction between people can resolve most of the problems in a marriage. Information given in this video is clear, succint and to the point. This video must be viewed by people contemplating divorce, as your tips can benefit them, and they can resove issues without making things messy.
This video is very informative. I am truely enlightened. I thank Lee Rosen for putting this on youtube so that couples may be educated to prevent divorces. My husband and I always disagree about our finances. He likes to save money and I like to spend money. I never knew that it was one of the leading causes of divorce until now. I do not want to be the reason for us getting a divorce. I see now that I have to sit and compromise about my spending. Again I am thankful fot the enlightment.
Wonderful and informative video. I believe it's very important to look at the reasons behind divorce, and really analyze the reasons found, as this could either make the divorce easier, help a person mentally with future relationships, or prevent the divorce altogether. I like that this video looks ddeply into this usually ignored factor of divorce.
The video has good information. I really think a lot of people will benefit from being able to know what the reasons are that can lead to divorce. Some of the items discussed in this video are things that many of us might take experience in our relationships, and it is great that the relationship between that and divorce reasons are made perfectly clear.
Great video and great advice. A very thorough overview of the most common reasons people get divorced, and I like that you point out that some marital problems are most always symptoms of other problems within the marriage. Your commitment to helping keep couples together is refreshing and you deliver sane sound and logical advice. Great vid, thanks!
The video has great information in it. Most of the people dont know about the reasons for divorce and precounselling and post counselling ideas given by rosen. lack Communication and immaturity is main reason for the divorce is a fact but many of us dont know about that, the video explained in well manner. The important reason for many divorce is sex that is well said by rosen. Really a wonderfukk video to watch and hear. thanks for your site too.
this is great and logical information that many of us may overlook when in a difficult relationship. This is a smart over view of many of the things that can lead to a divorce and how to realize the problem before going to the extreme of finding a lawyer. Good info told in easy to understand terms
@danieljdick Way to clog up an entire comments section with your rantings.
Sounds to me like you got raked across the coals by a woman, and you've got an axe to grind.
