don't say no? lol shows how much she knows about the band, Dont say a word is there biggest hit next to full moon and she couldnt remember the right name for the interview lol.
"varmaan heräte-ostoksena lähtee levy hyllystä herkemmin..... ku esimerkiksi italialainen metalli" :D that was so awesome and ofcourse
"katsotaan musiikkivideo "dont say no"... dont say a word, ai mitä mä sitten sanoin ? dont say a no, siis dont say a word ... hyvin sä vedät hei ! " xDDD totally uninformed interviewer she is :D
@Ad82Nana They are mostly talkin bout metal music and how it has become so huge phenomen. And Kakko tells bout his main metal influences: Stratovarius, Queen. ASLT...
For those of you who haven't noticed, the translation is simply a joke,a parody to make fun of Tony Kakko.I love the guy but i have to admit the jokes in the translation are hilarious, like he's saying that Queen handcuffed him on a pole and did "things" to him.Very funny.
there you go...if anybody finds mistranslations, please correct me.and remember me if you want someone to translate a Finnish interview into English:)
well, there's a couple of songs that i've had enough of,having re- and re-listened them again so many times.Queen was simply such a great unity... and those great big choirs and vocal harmonies,i really like them, they compeletely struck me and you can sense it when you listen to our music./ok.hey,thanx, tony/yeah,thanx/i'm glad you dropped by,have a nice gig./thanx for inviting me here.
i didn't really listen to music that much until in the 80s,before that i'd mostly been tinkling the piano in my place and doing loads of other things on my own.i was always interested in music but we never had any cd players or anything at home./what makes Queen such an awesome band?/i first saw a live concert by them on TV in...god,when was it again?...in-85 or-86, i guess. i was a goner on the spot.great songs, i still haven't gotten tired of listening to them...
well, melodious music in general is often a bit melancholic, and gloominess kind of runs in finns' veins, our winters being so dreary and the summers short and even a bit snowy.../could it be a matter of generation, too?i bet you listened to Helloween in the 80s?/actually, i think stratovarius was the very first heavy metal band for me,i'd been listening to a bit less heavy stuff...and Queen has been one of my favourites since i was a kid, Midnight Oil etc.
/no i haven't, it must be the cloppoty cloppoty comp, but i guess that's one way of expressing the same thing.haven't read the review in question myself, but they put it in a very interesting way.we've also been called The Modern Talking Of Metal at the very beginning of our career, which is a very unique thing to say./why do you think we're capable of making such great melodious metal in finland?/
they're probably more likely buy ex tempore a random finnmetal album than, say, an italian one./ok, let's take a look at your new music video Don't Say No/it's Don't Say A Word./...damn, what did i say?/Don't Say No.but you're doing all right./it says in this review that your music is "full of perky, brightly jingling guitar solos with heavy metal -flavoured melodies, plus an ice-cream cornet ice-cream cornet comp." ever heard a description like that?
now that there's been these bands that make songs in finnish it's probably become easier for everybody to develope fondness in music like this, Trio Niskalaukaus etc.,which is great.this is a unique country, i really can't complain *go, finland, go!*/is finnmetal already such a great brand abroad that any band could go abroad and maybe even make success?/well, i wouldn't say ANY band, but the word finnmetal definitely attracts people's attention.
(the woman) SA,a band from kemi has recently reached the hit lists with their new album reckoning night. finnish metal sells well in finland and abroad, too. hi,tony from SA/(tony)hi/how're you doing/not badly, we're waiting for the gig now.or the tour of finland,actually./how come heavy metal is so popular right now?/dunno, everyone asks me about that.you never make success like this
xD i don´t understand even a word but i love to here the finish language. and of course sonata arctica is the greatest band ever...but i guess i don´t have to mention that ;)

UnknowWillstorm 4 years ago
Tony Kakko?
