I grew up in postcommunist Romania and these things were EVERYWHERE. I must've had at least 10 variants of these as a kid, and I vividly remember we kept trying to collect new and better models with different games. The only difference is that back then (early 90's) they weren't copies of existing consoles, but rather they were 'original's, but they were these exact games (including 'Street Fighter').

Believe it or not, if you live in a dismal enough place this kind of stuff is amazing.

Oh MAN! I have a little game system a lot like this, called the "Pro Gamer 2000". It has pretty much the same graphics and games (probably, but maybe not since you didn't show the games), but it has no backlight, better sound effects, and no radio, and has a built in calculator. Wierd having a calculator on a GAMING SYSTEM. I hope you can find one of these and review it. It isn't too bad really.

I've seen millions of these cheap Tetris and with the other variants of games based on the Tetris blocks crammed inside and it's priced approximately 0.6 Pounds. These are everywhere, but in the 99¢ shop nearby my home, they are selling a lot of these kind of hand-held games.

When I was very young, those tetris/catch-the-ball/whatever handheld games did exist already, but they were equipped with a digital clock too, similar to the Game&Watch.
