  • Thank you for this review.

  • Why is this video image reversed? The radio in this video is a mirror image of the real radio. Look at the time on the display. It's backwards. The tuning knob is on the wrong side. The keypad is on the wrong side. Who made this video?

  • @chuggachuggawoowoo An artifact of my webcam.

  • I just got one of those for Christmas. I like it a lot and have found it very useful. C-Crane makes good stuff!

  • I was very disappointed when I first saw the size of the box. Im like $50!? =O Then I learned to love my lil $50 small radio. Will do better research next time. Cant blame anyone but myself.

  • I am considering getting either the CC Radio SWP or the Kaito KA11... which is better???

  • @venusprojection Both are nice little radios and good values. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Just remember that they are best suited as a small travel/portable radio and not meant to be a super charged dx machine.

  • @Drmikekuna Thanks for the reply! However now I think I've decided to go with the Grundig G8 Traveler II instead.

  • @venusprojection Happy listening!

  • Hello, do you still like your radio? Have any problems? I like the review you gave and was thinking of picking up this radio. Thanks!

  • @Tkbill Yes, I still like the radio. It is perfect for personal travel. However, I recently took it on a camping adventure with the family and the volume is insufficient for a noisy environment. Naturally, this is no surprise.

  • Nice review, thanks!

  • Very formative review! Thank you.

  • I also have the SW. It is a great radio.

  • I have the CC-SW model which is the portable version (not pocket like this one) and that sucker is a great DXer. AM just comes alive with that great built in antenna and dual conversion. SW is also great on it even with the whip antenna but if you just take about 60 feet of wire and plug it into the external FM/SW jack you can hear seemingly a million SW stations. This looks like a nice pocket version though for sure. C Crane makes some fine radios well worth the price.
