Lauren.. firstly THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting all these Johnny's videos.. I'M SERIOUSLY LOVING THEM!

secondly.. I'm trying my hardest to get Kat-tun tickets for the upcoming CHAIN tour, as I'll be in Japan during the tour. YOU'VE INSPIRED ME. I seriously thought westerners would never go to the shows. I love Johnny's artists so much!!

And finally.. I have to ask: HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU BEEN TO JAPAN? You obviously have that same love I do, I nearly died when I found these videos!!

I have been wavering for a while weather I should take the time to do it, but your comment made me want to do it for other Johnnys fans that think that they can't have anything Johnnys related, like you!

I have been to Japan 5 times over about 5 years ... so about 1 time a year basically! lol

How i get into Johnny's is because of my mistake in buying drama DVD. Since it'll be long, i'll just summarize the main part:

bought hana yori dango = Arashi

watch Nino's "Stand up" interview with Yamap = NEWS (and yamapi is my ichiban until now)

watch Shounen club, that's when i realise the whole Johnny's thing and was shocked when i found Ikuta Toma is one of them. So i think the main thing that get me hooked on Johnny's is Shounen club, i've been following all the juniors since i saw the show

i think i technically started with v6 because of inuyasha, but that was like the only song of theirs i ever listened to and then i discovered matsujun and found out he was in a group, didn't really care for his group as singers, then i discovered kame in 1 pund gospel, was in love with love yourself, but i wasn't really into johnny's at all, i JUST recently became a huge johnny's fan, and my group is Kat-tun, i also like yamapi, sexy zone, arashi, kis-my-ft2, never really cared for kanjani8 tho

My older sis got me into Johnny's. She showed me K8 Osaka Rainy Blues, and at first I didn't care for it, but I listened to it on my own and fell in love with it. I fell in love with Subaru ^^ and I didn't like Ryo at all actually, he was really cocky. But then he matured, and he's okay with me now. But anyway, k8 were the first group I liked and are pretty much no.1 for me. I also like Arashi (I LOVE OhMiya) and I think KAT-TUN is okay. I can't get into NewS tho 0___o

i got into je back in 2006, and i went to see tegomass in sweden (i live in norway~) that same year. since then my favorite group grew to be arashi, and they stayed my favorite for about two years or so, with me knowing about other groups but not really caring too much, until K8 released musekinin hero. since then it's always been eito. i also went to japan in the summer of 2009 omg, but i didn't go to any shows, because i wasn't sure how to get tickets :/

And I also watched every drama that Massu was involved in ^^; I also watched a lot of dramas with Yamada. Other than NEWS, I also like Arashi. I liked HSJ for a while as well. Then I got into the Jrs. (Well, former Jrs.) such as Kismyft2 and ABC-Z.

Anyway, thanks for telling us your story! You're lucky to have gone to many Johnny's concerts :o Especially Tegomass no Mahou! I wish to go someday...

I first discovered Tegomass after watching the anime "Lovely Complex" (since they sang the theme songs). When I stumbled upon their music video for Kiss ~Kaerimichi no Love Song~ I immediately fell in love with Massu. Then on the side, under the suggestions panel, I found NEWS's weeeek MV and got obsessed with the band. I watched everything that involved NEWS and Tegomass and soon learned more and more about the other Johnny's groups through Shounen Club and other shows, music videos, and dramas

My story is long so i'll just give the basics...

It started with dramas on May 22nd 09

MatsuJun in Gokusen--> Arashi

Akame in Gokusen 2---> KAT-TUN

Watched Nobuta for Kame, discovered Yamapi ---> NEWS. Fell majorly in love with Pi and NEWS. And to this day still my ichiban group.

At that point i realised what exactly Johnny's was and started researching other groups. (JUMP,V6,NYC,SMAP,TOKIO,K8,Mat­chy etc).

Came across Kis-My-Ft2 in 2010 and fell crazy in love with them. They're now 2nd faves.

well. the reason that i started to do some research about Johnney's is a video, which is nishikido ryo singing Angle in Youth Club. I thought it is a fantastic performance for a boy in that age. so, I started some research and figured out he belonged to two Johnney's groups. Also, I watched the DVD Puzzle. I cannot image how exciting if I were at the Domo live. So, You are so lucky！！

I got into NEWS because of Nobuta wo Produce. I loooved Akira in that so I had to find out who the actor was. I found Yamapi, I found NEWS, I searched for NEWS here on YouTube and found the SUMMER TIME unplugged version. Loved them instantly.^___^ I began to understand JE little by little and told myself not to get into the other groups too much (cause it's expensive xD). But KLams video's brought me to you and you got me into Kanjani8. :D Watching Johnny's Countdown got me into other groups~

I am a diehard (but not hardcore) Arashi fan, & I first got into them after reading the cover article of them in an Oricon Style magazine back in 2001. My fan passion has been steadily growing since then, & I really became a "diehard" fan when I found out my cousin from Japan who is 20 years older than me was also a huge fan of the band, & we totally bonded over that! =)

long story short again , I ended up finding out more about him and his name and then that's where I got into NEWS. NEWS was and still is my most loved group [ mostly for the 6 member group ]. after all that I got into like Arashi and Kat-tun. and like you I kept going back and forth. I was really a small fan of everyone. but then even though it has been 6 years now if I really think like who I love and am a real fan of ..it would have to be Yamashita Tomohisa.

and to this day I still don't understand how I even noticed it. the video I found was Yamashita Tomohisa's Yubiwa clip back from NEWS'S first concert in 2003 or 04. this was back when I was going to be a senior in high school so I was 17[07]. and at the time I was a crazy kpop person. not to mention I didn't like Japanese that much. so yeah totally weird. long story short I instantly fell in LOVE with this unknown named person. I had NOO idea who he was or how to find info about him.

sorry for commenting again BUT I wanted to answer your question at the end " How did you get into Johnny'".....How I got into JE was actually really really bizarre because I didn't necessarily get into a group first like most would, it was more I found a concert clip of JE group but it was of one of the members solo part. the weird thing is is that I didn't find this video on Livejournal or facebook it was just out the blue .

Oh and have you had any interest in kismyft2? I watched the drama ikemen desu ne which was awesome it was like the new popular drama with johnnys like hanadan andyamato nadeshiko shich henge you should check it out if you havent yet^^
