No more kings,: Libya needs a just Imam, one who is chosen based on merit (piety and intelligence) and not based on bloodlines ; One who rules by the Quran and way of the Prophet(*). Until this beautiful reality arrives, a president will suffice, especially one who would highlights Libya's Islamic aspects, and uses Islam, the common religion of all of its neighboring countries as a tool for regional stability and interdependence.

Most people objecting to life in Libya are NOT really objecting out of CONSCIENCE , it is most likely because THEY couldnt make it , that's all .

The people in the video didn't betray libya, they betrayed the regime that's causing destruction to our beloved home Libya. If anything it's your kind that is betraying it. Everything you say is justified. I just read Gaddafi's blog with an entry sounding the alarm to the world that Turkey is a Trojan horse with young Islamist Turks ready to overrun Europe if Turkey is admitted to the EU. What a dastardly and obscene thing to say.

But, I take issue with the nostalgia for the monarchy which, like all Arabian monarchies, was a terrible thing. It's as bad as colonial occupation.
