this looks like an old JONES sewing machine . is that what it is ?

it is a BSM made in england. i think around the 1930's. it sews very smoothly and i really like it. mark
i got a JONES machine, made in england, very simular to yours, mine was made in 1893, works very well, i love these old machines.
Please inform me on how to thread this machine, I have a Hand Crank 1922 Singer, (from the U.K.) I just cannot get it threaded properly. Any suggestions,.

Old singers will sew anything. They were built around the 1st and 2nd world wars so they were solid, like most things of that era.
Anything includes: concrete, bomb shells, railroad tracks, mounted machine guns, tanks, jeeps, the opposition... etc etc.

yes you can sew denim. i'm sewing 2 layers of 10 oz canvas in the video very easy to do. it will do a lot more layers.
