oh my.... good point :) Thanks for letting me know. I will make sure to change the title to make it more clear. Your the best punkgurl1211 .. xoxo, Krystal and Kaitlyns Mommy
I'm actually chinese born in New York City. My chinese is not that great but I know enough to barely get by. I hope that my daughter can learn cantonese and mandarin some day. I've been to GuangZhou, it's a fun place to hang out :)
oh well, i think your cantonese is really great, for someone born in america, but there's a china town so i guess that kind of helps a little....i wish i was that good. when i came when i was three i was sooo fluent, now i can only say a few phrases....lol....and it kind of sucks since my family on my dads side all speak cantonese....lol so have your girls been to china yet??
Before kids I visited China/HK every year for about a month at a time on business. Watching movies and most of my friends speaking chinese and yes, living in chinatown has helped a lot. Although, I didn't really speak chinese till after I had Krystal, because I wanted her to be bilingual. Now my chinese comes more natural but still not as good as I would like. I've got a lot to learn, but we all have to start somewhere :)
Yes, this song is from beyond. I don't know the name because it is written in chinese when I downloaded it. Unfortunately I do not know how to read much chinese. Just simple words here and there. These are one of their most famous songs, among many. I love BEYOND!!
As a curiosity, did she ever try her fung fu skills on other children, when she was angry maybe? my cousin did that at the beginning of her karate training before she understood it's not really for revenge or for expressing anger...
Hi ruxyruxforever, thanks for always watching our video's and commenting. To answer your question.... No, she's never abused her kung fu skills. If she is upset with something, I make her use her words. If she ever does mis-use her knowledge of kung fu then she will either get a time out or age appropriate actions will be taking. Good question :)
Hey ChakanEvil (my friend) yes they are for proper stance. And thank you again for your super sweet comments. I will never forget what you wrote. It really means a lot. Bless your heart and I too wish you a happy family when your ready.
Kung fu is wonderful for children to learn. Teaches them disipline, respect, to be strong and self defense, among many other things. The teachers are pretty fantastic, they won many championships and started at a very early age. They are great with children too :)
Awe.. how sweet! They look like they are having sooo much fun!
