  • Someone please pick me up off the floor!

    I will never forgive the record companies and radio stations for ignoring Billy.

  • @vwtch A great talent indeed which I hope more and more people will continue to discover, here on YouTube and through their re-released recordings.

  • I don't think anyone got a better 12 string Ricky sound than these guys and as for getting a Orbison or Everly sound - their own sound was captivating. Too bad they didn't breakout.

  • @Sointula2 Still, it's great to see that their music is being discovered on YouTube and that their CD's are being re-released.

  • On the floor of Heaven`` is available on Amazon.ca for $14.99. It`s in my wishlist now.

  • @DGWpg I have the 1993 release but I strongly recommend it to anyone who does not yet have the CD.

  • pure wonder... irresistible... timeless

  • @Byrdeyy Agreed!

  • 'an aside;

    If any of you ever saw him and El mar, you know what I mean; (they were too much!!!!!!!)

    'just sayin'

  • Yea Billy (personal friend of mine)

    Hate to say it; nobodys' listening!!!!!!!!!!!

    Humanity is a sad story; to tell the truth.

    'just sayin'!!!!

  • Thanks so much for posting this. Ihave been trying to find Blue Shadows cds for years. Any ideas friend?

  • It would be great if Jeffrey Hatcher or someone in the know could settle the mystery. Did the Blue Shadows set out to do an Orbison-type song? It's interesting you should mention the Everlys, I never thought of them in relation to this particular song but I had noticed the similarity in harmonizing on other Blue Shadow songs.

  • typo: Shadow=Shadows

  • This tune is very Orbison-esque, and I could picture the Everly Brothers covering it as well. Very nice!
