@ReplayOurCams you don't have 1080p checked do you also do you take the hdmi cable out when you change back to component as some times the tv will try and find the hdmi channel with the hdmi cable still in.

@ReplayOurCams i only use 720p when i use 1080i the picture quality on the tv is not as good as just using 720p. You are correct you cannot use hdmi cable to record with.

@vKillWhore do you still have the hdmi cable in when you change channel if so try taking out the hdmi cable and have the component cable in the tv and then hold the reset button until you hear a couple of beeps and then find your component channel on your tv. It could be that your tv is still finding the hdmi input when you have the hdmi cable in.

Hi I play on ps3 and I just got a roxio. I bought the ps3 component from roxio and I know I have hooked every thing up right. The compiter I use is a toshiba. I usualy record on my hd tv. On this tv there is an all audio out, an hd audio out, and a comp audio out. The roxio is in the comp but I have turtle beaches pluged into the all audio. My recordings hav perfect Hd video but 0 sound at all. any sugestions. Thnx.

@bmxj12 as long as your tv has component inputs this will work. This does not record in HD but allows you to play in hd up to 1080i.

@mkolenda1222 your tv should not be blurry to such a extent if i have 1080i checked then i really do notice the blur compared to having just 720p checked. Are all your cables pushed all the way in.

@TarkHD No you cannot use the hdmi cable this device is component at present i do not know of any device that uses hdmi that would go into the tv ...... unless you have it going into your pc

@XViciousGamerzX Once you have set this up on the component channel on your PS3/TV you can either use the component channel every time you play or you can set your PS3 back to the hdmi channel and only use the component channel when you what to record BUT you will need to go back into the PS3 settings and change the display setting.

@steinhorn21 you need to physically delete them from your hard drive as well. You will need to find them on your hard drive first and then delete them. Look at my video at 8 minutes 20 seconds and it says ''save to'' that is were your videos are which you will need to delete to free up your hard drive space. Just by deleting in the video wave editing part does not remove them from your hard drive :o)

Mine does the EXACT same thing until it gets to the display settings. It goes blank for a couple of seconds and then when it comes back all it does is go back to the same screen where the Compenent/D terminal screen is. @xXDOGxSOLDIER2008Xx you can record other people's voices while you play but not your own while playing online with the rgc device. You can add voice while you edit or you can set up a mirco phone on your pc and laptop and then add that while you edit.

@animal649 yea indeed there should be a software that you could install to your computer, that if you plug in hdmi from tv to pc, u can press capture and whatever quality ur computer/tv supports. then u could capture ANYTHING from ur tv to ur pc without any pvr or roxio or any capture device

@rodakaR2A No the cables that come with the PS3 are composite and the cable that you will need and does not come with the RGC device is a PS3 component cable.

I need help please! I got a component cables for my PS3 but they're not the official sony ones. each time i switch my PS3 to component everything has green tint to it. I tried it once in another TV but it's the exact same model as the one i usually use and everything was perfect the first time but it all ruined the second time and the green tint returned. @HeyItsMax97 a couple of things, are you using the video red and not the audio red in the correct input this sounds silly but this has happened before, are all wires are pushed fully into the inputs. Do you have a channel called YPrPb on your tv if so try switching to that or you may need to get new cables but without the extra yellow.

@ultraslb1 check that you have the cables in the correct inputs, check that the cables are pushed all the way in if that does not work i would hook up the ps3 component cables to the tv and not the roxio game capture device and see if everything works. If it does then you know the ps3 component cable works.
