I don't trust this video, but it certainly is not true that Jim made no reference to being possessed. The thing about "Indian spirits" was a reference to it. I don't trust this video, but it certainly is not true that Jim made no reference to being possessed. The thing about "Indian spirits" was a reference to it. They were not the spirits of dead Indians, but demons, and they tormented him. Jim told that same story as early as 1961, amd had told others he was possessed for a few years before.
