every time i put a wig cap on a maniquen head. it doesnt fit right cuz the head is too small and it doesnt match mine.. how else shud i go about doing this style?

Great Tuitorial. Theres an easier way to tie it also, cause I suck at tying it your way. You can just pull the needle through half way and coil any part of the thread around it three times and pull through, makes an awesome knot.

Ok so I have a larger head than most people, but I wanted to try this method. When I start to sew the hair on the cap what should I do to ensure that the cap will still fit when I go to sew the cap to the braids??

I only use one bundle I have a small head with thin hair. I was thinking that maybe you can give me all the left over hair :)

hello ms chanda, I have a question please, if the circumference/ diameter of the mannequin head is smaller than ones own, should this wig still fit the human head properly; assuming the mannequin was used to construct the piece? Thank you and God bless!

hey ms chanda, can you make an invisible part weave using a similar method to the u part wig. I keep having major breakage everytime I try to leave any part of my edges out no matter what gel or edge protector I use. I want to be able to wear one of these so bad, but can't leave hair out it just breaks right off even if I don't use any heat at all and if i try to just do a center part, my hair is thin up there and makes me feel like i need to glue in some tracks for fullness.

@Staceyecec.. When you use the spandex cap it has give so it will fit any size head basically. When you use the mesh wig caps then you may run into fitting problems especially with whole wigs. Hope this helps. Have a Good Night!

Thanks very good tutorial, I was taking my notes because i want to try to make a wig but what do I do if I don't want to leave my hair out at the front.

@DivaNurse68 you have to make sure you measure....I did that...I braided my pattern first, then traced the outline on the cap and sewed to that pattern...it fits perfect once done...hope this helps or maybe next time, I will make a video about it...♥

@adorebie if your sewing it, just be careful to not kill yourself with the needle, lolol...if gluing, use a shower cap or saran wrap underneath to prevent the glue form touching your hair...♥

@SuperMskoko you should be able to but you gotta make sure that you dont continuously wear them because it can cause hair loss in the area where the clip is constantly touching...remove it every night, or if you are not going/going anywhere...
