DC companies suck for the most part.. You are better off calling collectors yourself and getting a deal and having them remove that baddie from your cr completely.But it does require a whole lot of follow up to make sure they keep their word and not hose you once you settle.

Good thing I was able to work with legit companies. Just be careful!
I know right!!! I cant believe that some of these companies can lie through their teethand make those promises! People should be educated and informed of these scammers! Totally unfair for them to be dragged even deeper to debt even bankruptcy.

Great analogy! It is indeed like weight gain, wow! I would never think of it that way on my own. We just really need to control our expenditures and live within our means. It would be hard but we need to make changes fast!
That's right! The change should come from ourself. Why would we need a total stranger to take control of our finances when we can do it on our own right? Counselling is great but the ads are sometimes ridiculous!!!

I've heard of a lot of horror stories from people I know about this. Most of them ends up with deeper in financial trouble after getting these scam debt resolution groups. I am very careful with those ads which promises a lot, most of the time they do not deliver!

Exactly! We should be asking ourselves first, get to the root cause of the financial issues we are in right now. Most of the time its our own miscalculations and extravagant lifestyles that we need to change to better our finances.
I have friends who have been victims of these scams who post ads like ads mention in the video. We should really educate ourselves to avoid scams like these as this would not better our finances. Be careful guys!

I am always skeptical with ads which are too good to be true, it seems that I am right about these Debt Consolidation agencies. I for one would like to have complete control of my finances and not a stranger handle it for me. Just scary.
