If OSU sucks, then the SEC must REALLY suck for losing to the teams OSU beats up on every year, since those teams have won 16 of 27 bowls against the SEC in the BCS era!

Yeah, OSU has lost some big games recently. The game against Texas last year was a heart breaker when Colt McCoy drove down the field in the final minute to beat us.
And we lost two national title games to superior teams. But we also brought home a national title in '02, and oh yeah, beat u of m 8 times in 9 years.

Oregon had trouble with Arizona's power game. OSU can model their game plan after what Zona did. They don't have to get into a track race with those guys.
Oregon is more vulnerable than most casual fans think. This game reminds me a lot of the 2002 national title game against the Canes--nobody gave OSU a chance in hell. OSU was supposed to be too slow to win, too one dimensional on offense. Guess what? We lined up and smacked that track team all around the field.
The game did go into 2 OTs, but Ohio State was a 14.5 point under dog. My point was, nobody thought Ohio State would even be competitive, but they found ways to manage the Cane's speed.
That doesn't mean they will be able to cope with Oregon's overall team speed on Jan 1st, but I'm sure they saw what Arizona did to contain the Ducks. OSU will be a dog in the Rose Bowl, but there are things they can do to limit the Duck's offensive possessions. If they can do that, it will be a tough game
