I think Serbia could use some Mil-24 / 35 Hinds. Very survivable. The SU-25 "frog foot" would make a good ground attack aircraft, and the SU-47 excellent for air superiority. Any aircraft the Serbs buy would need to be rough field capable, unless their doctrine has changed a lot. Most western produced aircraft require improved run ways.

@srbiJagoda From this what I know MiG-21 were removed from the service in 2010. As for now Serbia is wondering which aircraft should they choose as a new modern jet of SAF. The greatest chance has a JAS-39 Gripen. I think it would be the best choice for SAF to buy this aircraft as it's technologically one of the most advanced jets in the modern times. It's also cheap, fast, agile, easy to use and it's an european jets which is not french hehe and it's capable of using US armament:)

And I think that it will be possible to buy Gripens by Serbia, cause they're almost in the same price level as Su30 are:)

the jet at 0:29 is an american f-16 not soviet,and if its such a great air force then why did it get almost completely wiped out during the nato led war in 1999.keep in mind only one american jet was shot down and that was a f-117 that was hit by ground fire not a fighter jet.dont get me wrong there good pilots but the best in the world,not even close

@metalfrommaine we were fighting against 19 NATO countries because we had a courage to confront you and it lasted for 78 days. And you have no guts to engage guerilla warfare. We shot two NATO airplanes (F117 and F-16), 9 "no-pilot" airplains for observing, 45 crusing missiles and 4 big projectiles (that`s how it`s stated in officials channels). Some tanks that you destroyed were models and old T-55 while we saved new tanks in case NATO starts guerilla warfare but pussies never landed

NATO pussys doesn't go in Serbia in foot because they don't have balls for that...And they need to quickly bombing Serbia and go out Serbia Air space...

BVR 4 f-18 and 2 f-16 vs 3 mig-29 ? now was that fair and plus anit rader missles knock out there radar so there was no early warning. one way the airforce know was from reports of jet flying over towns with that in mind serbia did shoot down fa-18 and heilcopters.

@metalfrommaine do you look for aircrafts that are shoot down but nato and us dont recognise that.B-2A Spirit of Misouri was shoot down and about 15+ aircrafts and 70+ UAV and 10+ apache helicopters.new spirit of misouri was made in 2008.one american general say that nobody knows what happen in 99.my uncle was in AA squadron and he say that they shootdown 5 f-16.only one AA squadron

@srbiJagoda From this what I know MiG-21 were removed from the service in 2010. As for now Serbia is wondering which aircraft should they choose as a new modern jet of SAF. The greatest chance has a JAS-39 Gripen. I think it would be the best choice for SAF to buy this aircraft as it's technologically one of the most advanced jets in the modern times. It's also cheap, fast, agile, easy to use and it's an european jets which is not french hehe and it's capable of using US armament:)

@srbiJagoda Yes, it's a very good jet, but Russian airplanes have one huge disadvantage: they're technologically old:( If You compare those planes (gripen and su30) as an AIRPLANES then yeah, Su30 is better, it has better manuverability, but still it's and old plane. What about MiG29s? I love those jets^^ But modernizing it would be like a money thrown to garbage. And I think that it will be possible to buy Gripens by Serbia, cause they're almost in the same price level as Su30 are:)
