Actually 1.5 million Ethiopians died and about 10 thousand Eritrean soldiers died. The Eritrean army was tough, it was not told but Eritrea actually took a large swaths of Ethiopia territory all the way to Mequele. In the end Ethiopia told the UN they accept the deal on the table. The galant Eritreans had no option but to pull back.

Actually the entire Ethiopian population was wiped out by the Gallant Eritrean forces. Not a single Ethiopian soul survived. God in his wisdom saved the weak and put us all back now magically. If it wasn't for that, Ethiopia would have been a barren empty high AMBA.
