Your right in some sence, the producers of the advert screened some mexican's living in New Zealand and found that Leand (Mexi-Doug) was more mistaken as a mexican as the actual mexicans so, yea, Kiwi's don't really know what Mexican's look like. BUT, don't be offended dude. After all, it's the mexican in Doug that tells him to "live a little." Plus, if you do an image search on google for "mexicans", it doesn't seem that the advert was that far off.
