Wow...I remember really wanting this game when I was young because they tacked it onto a vhs of Simpsons episodes I had. But I didn't have the console. I remember feeling so deprived and then years later I actually played the game and...yeah...glad it didn't get it really. I think it was because I was expecting a home version of the arcade game which was brilliant. Not getting an NES and avoiding this game is one of the few things I can look back on and be grateful for.

I don't get why so many people hate this game now just because AVGN thinks it sucks....I loved this game as a kid....I still find it fun, the controls are hard to get used to but as a kid I never had a desire preference I knew every game was different. The graphics for it's time were great and even though it was muffled the voice was a cool touch, back as a kid I didn't notice it's flaws and as an adult it has too much charm to look at and say IT'S SHI.

@dumbestname the idea for the wireless controller did exist back in the mid 80s and early 90s but the issue was the technology was based on how remote controls worked and essentially you would have to use the button like you would change the channel. that would be too frustrating for the players so the nintendo went to wired controllers until they could work this such as the wavebird wirelss controller. a lot of the stuff for the wii now existed as an idea back then but never fully realized.
