Let me tell you...

I DID hang in there until the end. And i STILL hated it. it was CRAP!!!!

It was bad, SHE was bad EVERYTHING was bad...and even IF he left part of the way through...he STILL saw as good as it gets.

I PRAYED it was going to get better. PRAYED!!!!!!! I said, maybe we'll get free jujubees if we withstand the urge to leave.

The fact there weren't jujubees was easier to understand than the idea that I wasted my life watching crap. LISTEN TO THESE GUYS!

The movie was the worst and I saw it on Blu-Ray. I did feel like I was stuck at the table many times. Boring I didn't care what happened at the end.

I rented this movie. About 40 minutes into it I turned it off. I re-watched it the next day to give it another chance and it wasn't as bad.

Some of the scenes are too drawn out and seem pointless. But the themes like self-forgiveness and battling addiction make it interesting.

I guess it's one those movies that grows on you.

I thought this was an excellent film and Demme employed an interesting style to convey the story. Sorry Schmoes - and everyone be warned - this is not a "date" film unless one is in an "intellectual" mood.

Patti, in Mark's defense- he loved this film, I hated it beyond words. I have found it is love or hate with this film, I agree that Demme did some great stuff but it was so painful to watch.

And don't say sorry ever! We love when people tell us that they think we are off the mark! Love the honesty!

Wow...this film is seriously for people who can handle something a little more real...if you don't understand why it was shot the way it was, or the music was only played when you see it, then don't watch it. But if you're a real compassionate person who loves great film making, then see it. Many critics say it was the best film of the year and I agree. (Sorry if you thought that was mean just getting thought out!)

You guys are so funny... I definitely maybe probably might perhaps not see this film lol....

I remember a film I hated throughout, but it was so painful that I can't remember the fucken title. I was so frustrated by it that I repressed the title from consciousness, only remembering the terrible feeling I had, hoping no one saw me coming out of the theater.  This review has resurrected those horrible feelings. Thanks alot!!!!
