I'm glad she addressed the 'speaking in tongues' phenomenon that seems to plague Black Church worship. False baptism? That scripture (Acts 2) doesn't mention an upper room. It doesn't say that a baptism fell. It doesn't say they spoke in tongues, it says OTHER tongues. Tongues and diverse tongues are 2 different gifts.

I'm glad she addressed the 'speaking in tongues' phenomenon that seems to plague Black Church worship. A lot of think that if we get overwhelmed by truth and God's presence, then it's necessary to do so, but like she said, those are just emotions. I personally think that some of the sounds we make are for meditative purposes, and I still hold firm in that. Praises be to God for such an anointed messenger, Dr. Juanita Bynum. :)

So I will take the ONE OR TWO that figure it out for themselves and seek the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Doesn't matter where you are in the church God will find you!

I go mostly to baptist type churches and i freak them out because I hagve the gift to release the anointing! And I am very powerfully used in this manor! I can only do what i can do if people need a healing they can seek it or ask Jesus for mercy when they sense his presence. If they want the spirit as in "baptism of" it is the same thing repent unto Jesus!
Honey if a lutheran can receive the Holy Spirit and be clueless why not a baptist or any one who wants to defect? And know God!

People speak of revival! And they are right we need it bad! But some things we do must be changed in order for God to move more unrestricted in a church or gathering. Miss Bynum could be more effective if she could lose this vanity problem of being in the focus of the bright lights and camera all the time! So God can be God through her!
Even the apostles operated in two's or pairs one on the sidelines stiring up his gift. While the other may have been preaching! One will strengthen the other.

That's part of it!! I believe that putting things on time is as if it was in time and at a later time you can watch it. And she can watch herself and see what she has done because once you get on that stage before God's people you go what you believe God is telling you.

You know really the gospel of power is so simple we have totally missed everything! And God had made a way for anybody and everybody whether they knew how to read and write or not!
And actually it was designed mostly for those who even if they wanted to be educated they couldn't! Like Slaves and women for most of history were denied the right to be educated.
But through the spirit you can fast and pray and begin to hear from God directly no matter who you are!

Everything is too loud, Too bright, too gaudy! We want God to move on camera on some sort of que!
We want God to move when we want him to move rather than the other way around! John the baptist said or was to have said prepare the way for the coming of the lord!
But it is similar for the movement of the spirit do the things or operate the way for the spirit to move the best! And all this that has been brought into the modern church is not equitable for his movement!

What is the real problem? Are people receiving the Holy Spirit or being healed? We are to loud in everything we do in church TV camera's the bright lights too much preaching or what is called teaching! And how much was given of God through the spirit through fasting and prayer and not taken from a bible! Or Was heard from God first in your quiet times before you even open the book?

one thing that i have learned is that when you put your mouth on the man /women of God you open your self up too some real consequnces and when ever you put your mouth on them you have just boosted them to another level and i honstely dont think God would allow juanita to get up on stage & miss lead so many ppl of God . i really dont think he would ..... and one thing that i know about God is when it comes down to his ppl he wont let any body just get up into the poolpit

So much emotionlism, it don't take all of that, to preach the gospel. Plus, who are they praising, her or God, becomes she is the one who wants the attention.. She's playing the crowd and putting on performance, that's all. The louder she's gets,the more the crowd loves it. The one thing she did say was true, alot of people have use their emotion, in thinking they received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
But, I dont believe she has him either. Line up her life with the word of God.

Any body hear of a Lee Stoneking I think you need to check him out he is anointed as well! Does he fast and pray? I don't know! I don't know what church he is from or related to. Well that to me is hope that there are more of us anointed in the earth that I have known about! Cuz I know they ain't on TV

Lee Stoneking and Juanita Bynum are too different people. Bynum is a charlatan who should be removed from the ministry according to the Bible. She rarely even preaches the Bible... like in this clip. Stoneking would only appeal to Apostolics

A lot of her ideas are great. A lot of her ideas are not Biblical and contradict Bible passages. Her "No More Sheets" sermon was great - as a lecture, but this and other sermons have no scriptural basis. And now that she is a two time divorcée, she has no business in the pulpit. As a woman, she got a slide, but this is too much.

My experience/knowledge is limited to the Bible. What is being said is not in the BIble, so it can be burnt and thrown away. And if you cannot prove the world will end in 2044, does that mean it's a true teaching. Be a Berean, question everything that isn't in the Bible. If this teaching is Biblical, show me where the author intended to say this teaching. Otherwise, it is new and is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

From the logos (written word) comes the rhema (inspired word) and hence provides a contempory understanding of the scripture and in doing so takes nothing away from the word, but grows a greater appreciation for the written word. Also may I need to point out that alot of things that are taught, adhered to and practiced in the Church are not essential Biblical ( not found in scripture).

of course... and that strays away from the Biblical teaching of "don't stray from what is written." Point blank: Juanita's teaching shows she is not a servant of God. Solomon's life showed the same thing. He once was used by God (he is attributed three books of the Bible), but he strayed from what he wrote. Bynum was a woman's teacher. She had a good sermon or two, but she began to stray away from the word, she usurped authority, she began to teach unBiblical teachings, and the money got to her

The Pharisees were judging Jesus by the Talmud. I am judging Juanita by the Bible. There is a constant Biblical license to judge religious leaders. If a man desires to be a servant-leader, he must be in line with scripture and not stray from what is written.

False baptism? That scripture (Acts 2) doesn't mention an upper room. It doesn't say that a baptism fell. It doesn't say they spoke in tongues, it says OTHER tongues. Tongues and diverse tongues are 2 different gifts.
