A few decades later, DC writers decided that spinning her lasso around herself could change her clothing via its "vibrational frequency". Since the lasso effect was too costly or difficult for the live-action show to depict (and stripping probably too risque), the WW spin was developed.

DC originally premiered the film at NYCC '09. When Cheetah dove through the window, the audience (myself included) went completely ape-shit. It was really awesome that the production team included her in the film.

@Mitchelveli Apart from the DC ANimated Universe of the 90s-early 00s, animated series are only made for characters guaranteed to be popular, such as Batman and Superman. However, due to the fact that he's the highest-profile hero, Batman gets more attention.
@stomyn It's Wonder Woman. Frankly, when she finally killed a supervillain in the comics, the only thing I could think was "Damn, surprised THAT didn't happen sooner." She's a warrior. She may have peace as her major ideal, but part of her essential background is that she doesn't mind wetwork. Sure, I think killing somebody is a terrible thing to do in normal situations. Fighting somebody who's a cheetah-lady with a hard-on for killing people is not a normal situation.
this movie was awesome. one of my FAV. i have the dvd and just love it, love it, love it. and i am pissed the sequel got scrapped. i bet too many parents cried and piss over all the blood that was shown on the show and killing. but come on, it's wonder woman, it's greek amazons and warriors. u have to show that mess. and not like it was on tv, so since it was a movie why not show it. hell powerpuff girls had all kind of blood and killing and that was on tv.
Excellent! But there's one thing I don't get...wouldn't someone have SEEN her change? Especially that little girl! I wonder why...but that's why she's WONDER Woman, right? :-)
@DisneyBlackJet, I saw this Wonder Woman animated film blockbuster 2 years ago in 2009 and it was a fantastic EPIC!!! film. I love the ending when Diana was on a date with that military pilot guy and he didn't want her to be late for dinner she goes runs behind the alley way and changes to take care of Cheetahgirl a member of the Injustice league. Love the lasso move and knockout punch Wonder Woman gives her. Its time for WW to come to the silver screen DisneyBlackJet.
