  • Well said Mr Cameron most of the things you and other politicians say I disagree with however this decisions I and the UK embrace. Look at Italy, Ireland, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, ect, and how well they are doing with the euro!

  • I like the euro, but I don't believe the UK needs it, therefore I am against the euro in the UK but for the euro in Germany, Spain etc.

  • Why are there so many dislikes? I hope we never join the Euro

  • Very true. The Euro is a brand new currency that takes time to build and grow. Giving up at a first hurdle is what young children do. Since the Brits still use the Pound some there will take this weaker moment to bash and ridicule us. Remember the US went into a giant civil war a hundred years after it was founded (much worse then Greek financial problems). Should the US then have giving up on the project of a "United States of America"? Really. I really love the Euro. Peace from Holland.

  • David Cameron: we will never join the euro

Feb-16-2012-- David Cameron defended his government's economic policies.

"The threat to the world economy and to Britain is as serious as in 2008 when world recession loomed. The euro zone is in crisis, the French and the German economies have slowed to a standstill. Even mighty America is questioned about her debts. The only way out of a debt crisis is to deal with your debts."

  • euro is piece of shit greeting from finland

  • war-mongoring fucking torie scumbag `prob shags old tin knicker`s thatcher `then again more likely to ride rentboys !! ,bet he got bummed @ his posh School by the teachers !!-ALBA AN AIGH`...SCUM OF THE EARTH CUNTS.

  • corrupt cameron is a nonce

  • I'm not a tory but I am very pleased to hear this from the Cameron.

  • do more Cameron! Referendum! pullaway from EU!

  • Why the fuck are people disliking this? Fucking Euro-Nazis trying to turn GB into a state of Europe. In case you haven't noticed, half of Europe is becoming part of the third world...and fast, which is why at all costs we must stay out of that god damn euro, which is something Miliband clearly doesn't get. He would sell us out to the EU in a heartbeat, bloody traitor.

  • @spongebo13 At this very moment you would be AMAZED how resilient the Euro proved to be against the world crisis! It struck us just like your country, but we managed it a bit better then you! Your country is a joke, food prices are rising like crazy, petrol is 1.4 pound a liter, and on top of that you're involved in wars while your economy is SLACKING and you SHOULD be using money on social development! 14 MILLION pounds a day for Aghanistan==>HAHA failures!

  • @janjan55555 You watch this space, in ten years the Euro will be a relic. And how you can sit there and say that the pound is faltering when several EU countries using the Euro have recently been downgraded whilst the UK keeps up it's AAA rating.

Just so you understand this, the war in Afghanistan is a war on TERROR. Would you rather allow Terrorist breeding camps all over the middle east training to blow you up just so you can have a slightly stronger economy? Answer that truthfully.

  • @spongebo13 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL everyone know Standard and Poor's is an American/British slave company! IF they truelly were unbiased they would have downgraded USA to D---- rating with their worthless CRAP dollars and INSANE deficit! Their CEO conveniently got fired when the call was made to downgrade them! Conveniently! ROFL HAHA Western scourge countries! VIVA africa, despite our economical oppression!

  • @janjan55555 I'm not denying that any western country has a huge deficit, as we all know that. What I don't understand is how you seem to think that wherever in Africa you live, you have a better economy and better quality of life, which everyone knows is utter bullshit seeing as the UK alone pumps billions a year into Africa for aid.

I also find it funny how you decided not to answer the Afghanistan question.

  • @spongebo13 "I don't understand is how you seem to think that wherever in Africa you live" I say VIVA Africa for a reason! Perhaps we're not as developed as you but we're also NOT as warmongering as your nations! GET LOST, you're not civilized you are a brute part of a terror squad wether it's Holland/UK/France/Germany/... ALL GUILTY of crimes when trying to impose your way of life on others!!! Afghanistan is a war on TERROR; HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • @spongebo13 HAHAHAHAHAHHA; First your pathetic nation spends 10 years to "find" bin laden to look for him because they know where he is, then they spend 10 years to "look" for him just to end up "killing" him in Pakistan??? Does that seem logical?? Does that make sense??? HAHA The war on terror= euphemism for war on Islam! 85%+of All Afghans don't even know WHY America is invading their country! I wish I could talk to you directly

  • @janjan55555 First off, it wasnt MY nation that started a 10 year hunt for Bin-Laden, and secondly, I find it disgusting how you would rather allow that evil man to be let off for the atrocity of 9/11 than to see him brought to justice no matter how long it took. Where the hell you pulled that percentage from is beyond me as many Afghans hate the Taliban and tell soldiers where they are, unlike you as you appear to be a terrorist sympathiser. So please just leave. I won't waste my breath.

  • @spongebo13 We all know how the Afghani's sent you an invitational card to INVADE their country (ROFL! sarcasm) "That evil man who wasn't even present in Afghanistan" LOL! Afghans HATE Taliban but does that mean they invited USA==>plz come and remove them? HAHA, the ignorance===>Fight them there else they come to us! THEY WILL come to you, since you angered them in the first place! Every action creates a reaction! So stupid for you to think NATO has no blame in all of this!

  • @janjan55555 If you werent so fucking stupid you would see that the war on terror was started AFTER 9/11. Why don't you go and fucking speak to some Afghans and you will see how unpopular the Taliban are. Are you honestly saying that the Taliban should be left alone to kill innocent people? To strap bombs to autistic children and then tell them to walk into a market place all in the name of Allah? If you seriously believe that we should let that continue then you should be shot along with them.

  • @spongebo13 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH comment pasted on facebook to prove your stupidity! :D:D

  • @janjan55555 Wow. Are you actually mentally retarded? If so then I'm very sorry for your condition and I wish you all the best in your treatments. If not then your are clearly a very young idiot on youtube who has no clue about the real world and so decides to blame the west for terrorism rather than realising that without terrorism there would have been no need for a war. Seriously grow a brain or something you are an embarrassment to the human race.

  • @spongebo13 I blame the West for being the main cause why terrorism is directed towards your pathetic nation and towards our nations! You haven't been succesful in Iraq /Afghanistan your economy is failing as hell! The people are fed with your governments and on top of that your government can barely pay off the interests of its debts!! You're a shame along with your precious Western countries! Democracy? My a**

  • @janjan55555 Again you show that you are just a terrorist sympathiser, I suppose you supported 9/11 because America "deserved it", you're fucking traitor to this race. Name ONE country that has a thriving economy, this is a world wide recession dip-shit, not just a western problem. And I can tell you that we have more of a democracy than most of the tribal, drug ruled, war-torn countries in Africa which you so dearly love. Go to hell.

  • @spongebo13 I feel sorry for you, there's an entire different world out there! you have the democracy to vote for a tyran that invades country after country after country; Warcrimes in Iraq/Afghanistan are still fresh in the memory, I feel sorry for you!

  • @janjan55555 You are as bad as the Nazis if you think that we should continue to let tyrants torture and genocide their own people. The real world, which is obviously something you can comprehend, is a lot different than YOU think. Go and see for your self you fucking Nazi. The world is no place for your ridiculous way of thinking if you actually believe that we should let terrorists carry on. And this "different world" you speak of is the drug and crime ruled shit hole that you live in.

  • You might not know that but in most if not every EU county their using US keyboard layout and there is no £ either :D

  • the uk gives £100 billion to the euro every year, something i only found out today! 110 billion euros! the euro will fail! thats why there is no euro sign on my keyboard lol everyone knows it. i can see the dollar sign and the pound sign lmao!...but no euro sign on my keyboard. hahaha that tells me they knew it was goin to fail. dell thought "theres no point putting euro sign"

  • "The only way...is to deal with your debts." Conveniently forgetting the £50 million we pay Brussels every day...

  • @honwavet40 EU is a sinking ship of fools. And everybody is fleeing from this insane madness. Bruxelles does want to push weakest states under the shelter of IMF. That's pure madness. The main responsable states of this shit are Germany and US.

  • well done, we never shud join the euro

    £ all the way

  • @honwavet40 Well, Bank of England is the third shareholder bank of ECB after Deutsche Bank and Banque De France (and before Banca d'Italia). So every single amount of money you do pay is balanced by ECB interest rate. Many british banks (like Barclay's) were involved in greek and irish debt. So you're not out of eurozone in a certain way, you're in the marshy grounds with us. Don't you believe you british to be out of this sick game. UK has to choose between helping eurozone or letting her sink.

  • @honwavet40 I just say UK/USA share a common market, common economic agreements and a common foreign policy. You do have also a huge political integrations at many levels (institutions, think tanks etc). France does fear UK in common european market for a simple and practical reason. France does see UK as a competitor at many economic sectors. UK in eurozone could definitaly destroy franco-german couple pushing Germany towards UK and not France.

  • @honwavet40 If you do have some guts, you should try to put togheter a political and economic club of european countries who are not in eurozone and against franco-german dictations. UK should be the leader of eurosceptic countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Poland who are euroscepitcal and who do want to be indipendent from eurozone political and economic influence. All this supported by USA.

  • @honwavet40 We don't have nothing against your "special" relationship with USA. But in my country (I cannot say in other countries) we see UK as the european twin brother of USA. You don't have any interests into promoting and strenghtening european integration. You see european common market as a thread and a competitor against your anglo-american common market. Very simple. Every british intrusion into european affairs is seen as an attempt to weaken european integration,

  • @honwavet40 We don't expect any help from you. UK never helped Europe without Uncle Sam by her side. Eurozone is a dead end. The only way out is quitting eurozone returning to our previous currency. It will happen, I'm sure. Germans are also tired of PIIGS and even France is on the brink of bankruptcy and depression. We will be the first Argentina of Europe, that's for sure. Euro is a madness and European Union is a lunatic asylum. And the germans are the keepers of this insane house.

  • Comment removed

  • Then I wonder why Bank of England is the third bank after Deutsche Bank and Banque de France for being part of European Central Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.

  • @Francesko263 Thats because we think before parting with our money. We want quality investments with quality returns. Deutsche Bank and Banque de France have been lending stupid amounts of money to any mug who wants a loan. Yes the bank of england may not be the biggest in europe, But our principles, investments and strategy is more solid and thorough than that of any bank in the world. Deutche bank & banque de france made this mess, NOW HURRY UP AND CLEAR IT!!!!. or will we have to once again??

  • @wimblewomble21 I understand your point of view. You're the main lender among the french and germans but you do not take part of eurozone. That's a good point of economic/financial freedom. But you will be compelled to bail out with your money the PIIGS from their marshy ground.

  • @Francesko263 Trust me. If we had an all tory government (which hopefully will happen in the next election). We wont be bailing out anybody for a long while, and if we do, it would be on our terms, and the likes of Greece would have to agree on a deficite cut and a payback plan. Tory governments are very harsh, but realistic when it comes to spending, if it wasnt for the coalition with the liberals, then i am sure we would be taking a step back. The eurozone is a dead beat, its just pure fate.

  • @Francesko263 i do not know where you are from. But if you are French or German, then i really wouldnt be taking this eurocrisis so litely. It's about time your people stood up and start telling the greeks that you will not fall for thier greed, lazyness and farfetched economic policies. I like the greeks, but not their lazy non existent work ethic. You must give Greece an ultimatum NOW. either cut back and pay your debts, or receive no more credit. You are beng held back by Greek lazyness!!!

  • @wimblewomble21 I'm italian and I'm very pissed by franco-german arrogance and dictatorship inside EU. Greeks and other southern europeans are guilty for having money lended by financial institutes, but french and german banks are full of toxic and trash bonds from US and so on. They do want to make pay greeks, italians and spanish to evoy paying for their own banks bail-outs. UK should join to other european countries to fight against France and Germany dictatorship.

  • @Francesko263 I understand your plight. But at the same time you did have a choice of not joining the euro. & government leaders should be more carefull about over spending by giving you empty pre election promises that they cannot keep. I personally do not want to bail out anyone, i beleive that a nation should allways solve thier own problems. All EU nations are to blame!!! Franco-germans should be blamed for lending too much, and leaders should be blamed for poor financial managment

  • @wimblewomble21 I don't like the french and the germans, but I don't like neither southern european countries. The only way out is to lower ECB interest rate and to raise inflaction to restore public debts. Germany does want low rate interest rate but it's destroying with its exports the economy of southern europeans countries. Our public debt boomed since the introduction of the euro currency to compensate the lost of our economic competitivness due to a too much strong currency.

  • @Francesko263 My advice to italy would be to get rid of berlusconi & get a new leader who actually knows about creating infastructure & industry. Your public spending must be lowered (everyone needs to make sacrifices from time to time) pay your debts. America also fell for this bullshit. If they had voted for someone like Mitt Romney (a man who knows everything about industry & infastructure) instead of that know nothing clown Obama, then they wouldnt be in such a mess. The USA people are fools

  • @wimblewomble21 And my advice to Britain is to stop living on financial sector and starting to rebuild your manifacturing sector as Germany did. Mr Cameron is pissed off with eurozone for the german proposal to tax financial sector. London and UK makies its wealth by financial sector who is destroying the real economy and the middle class in Britain and Europe. Stop selling cds and other financial trash. UK is the 3th strongest country in EU after Germany and at the same level of France.

  • @Francesko263 I agree with you on that. Cameron and osbourne have now proposed new plans for the uk to develope new manufacturing. But first we need to cut our spending and see what sectors are worth saving, and what sectors need to be curbed before we can see what products we can produce in manufacturing. Cameron and osbourne want us to have a clear vision in what we can actually afford in terms of "speculate to accumulate" before we cut rates and give industry in the uk a helping hand.

  • @RichardElden For "northing", learn how to spell you retard!

  • @RichardElden Its very easy being an online hardman isnt it? taking your internal frustrations behind the safety of a keyboard, grow up boy.

  • @RichardElden What relevance has De Valera to do with this video? the world has enough hatred without a 19 yr boy adding to it.

    Grow up boy.

  • Your Prime Minister is 100% correct, the euro could never work with no monetary union, we here in Ireland were brow beaten into taken it, As a Nationalist he is one of my favourite Prime Ministers in British history, its mad he is conservative!

You have a good man in your office!!

  • that person is mad.

  • @shanepaulcoward

Beside the point. The value of gold isn't the least bit stable and can't be said to be a hedge against inflation- it IS usually a crisis hedge, though. You should really consult people who study economics about all of your ideas. Because from what I can see, you haven't been listening to a whole lot other people than the online conspiracy theorists. Of people who actually understand the full implications of what a gold standard would mean you will only find VERY few supporters.

  • @shanepaulcoward

If what you're saying about gold is true then you'd expect gold to have held a stable dollar price after you adjust for inflation. Maybe you should google gold prices from 1980 to 2001(hint 85% drop in its inflation adjusted value). There are plenty historical examples of inflation and even hyper-inflation in gold-backed currencies. Gold is more of a crisis hedge than an inflation hedge.

Money loses value, but nobody sane just has it laying around in their house to gather dust.

  • Cameron could have at least done his top button up.

  • Euro is in crise but UK too !

  • The Libyan Army have now completely destroyed Ras Lanuf oilfield in anticipation of a large NATO special force arriving to re-secure it. This after shooting down a plane several days ago carrying 82nd Airborne arriving to secure facility unaware that the Libyan Army had killed the NATO-al Qaeda Rats guarding it. That allows the Libyan Army to withdraw to defend the town. This is a MASSIVE blow to the NATO oil pirates and will significantly affect Libyas oil production and the world markets.

  • I concede that the central banks have been too offensive with printing money to keep the interest down so the lending hysteria could go on. But internet people love to make it out as if the central banks somehow secretively print more money yet it's announced very publicly every time. Just a quick question. Are you against ANY form of banking? The extreme lack of currency a world gold standard would cause would make it impossible to borrow ANY money. To me it's all about balancing it out.

  • @shanepaulcoward

Yeah, I'm majoring Economics without knowing anything about money - you got me.

Ugh..! Another gold nut. This is so dumb I dunno where to...

Listen, gold has no intrinsic value either. The value of anything is defined by the supply and demand - very basic 101 Economics. As seen in the gold prices recently, they jump up and down too in a fragile market. Gold is NOT immune to inflation.

  • You have all been brinwashed by the GROWTH mantra. Nothing in nature grows forever.

  • What is the meanig of "the economy has come to a standstill?" It's rubbish! The GROWTH has come to an end, but not our unsustainable immense production of goods.

  • The pound is so much better with more than 5% inflation?

  • Typical British. Cant take chances, too scared to loose. Germans beat them hands down. Taking on the Euro

  • @Laivlee You are talking rubbish! Cameron is "listening" to the British people. No-one here wants the Euro. Of course the other Europeans want us to join, so that THEY can benefit from it. Most of us don't even want to belong to the European Union. And you say Germany beats us hands down?? How many times have the Germans had to bail Greece out so far. How many billions? Are you suggesting the Germans are happy with that????? LOL

  • @Laivlee too scared to take chances. I think we took more of a gamble by not joining the euro. All those nations side by side in once currency, and yet we are still giving you handouts. Merkel and Sarkozy know next to nothing about economics, How long does it take to make a plan of attack???? youve been robbing peter to pay paul for over a year now!!!!. Cameron could sort this mess out in ten minutes, but your mug of a leader seems to spend more time eating fatty foods than dealing with problems

  • People should fucking man up and face reality. For so many years all over Europe people spent more than they earned; didn't want taxes but protested every time the governments would cut expenses. So there was only one place to go. To the banks. This is the work of cowardly socialist politicians who could see where this was going but feared public opinion.

And people take to the streets and behave like brats whenever someone finally does what needs to be done.

  • @oelergodt good comment

  • I agree with David Cameron. Why join the Euro, they will be fine by doing things themselves.

  • I'm going to save this video and show it to you dear Cameron when you'll "knock on Europe's door"!!!

  • never will

  • @terezian very much doubt that. It's the euro thats in crisis, not the pound. Why should we have to bail out a bunch of nations who obviously have no qualifications in mathematics, let alone accountancy. The answer is simple. Work hard, play hard, and live within your means. If euro leaders have fucked up your nations economy by bribing you with cash benefits during election campaigns, thus crippling your economy, then more fool you. Gullible fools deserve to be parted with thier money.

  • @terezian & the only reason why the UK was hit hard was thanks to a socialist labour government taking us into two wars, & spending unecessary funds on public services. The UK public was smart and voted for the torys, we have been clearing off our debts and lowering our spending for some time now. & when recovery accelerates, we will have lowered our debt, and we wont have other nations dragging us down, our foundations will be more solid and pure than that of germany and france.

  • @terezian europe and america will fall/become poor. and the british will become very very rich and powerful. little tiny britain is already richer than russia. thats right! russia! a tiny island is richer than the worlds biggest country. the pound remains the strongest currency in the world too. im afraid the world is going to see the rise of great britain in the near future. everything is in place. countrys will come to the uk and ask for financial help. the uk is the financial capital.of world

  • @british123able You sound optimistic.

  • thats cos america will fire a nuke and it will hit us in the uk and then be on the news as friendly fire.

  • Indeed, the EU is collapsing! Perfect timing statement! LOL

  • What effect does this statement have? Is he saying that the euro is shit?

  • in my opinion, david cameron should eat a dick or two

  • in my opinion, david cameron should eat a dick or two

  • THIS CONFIRMS THE PREDICTIONS OF NOSTRADAMUS!

THE ANTI-CHRIST IS FROM BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY.

    WHILIAM, YOU ARE THE ANTI-CHRIST.

  • @barbelotta lol

  • Don't believe a word this man says. Before he was elected he promised to hold a referendum to determine if the UK should leave the EU. Everything this man says is a lie.
