  • Great video... thats not crazy at all brother, I also use the metal cutting blades on the jigsaw because the wood cutting blades cut so rough on the wood... And Im sure some people will say... ok cut the curve CLOSE to the line and then sand it, but I've found, like you did, that the metal cutting blades work the best for a finer finish with the jigsaw...

  • @THSurvivalGear Those bimetal blades are really amazing. I wish I knew more about the material science of their composition. I use a Milwaukee portaband all the time and those bimetal blades cut through just about anything metal, but they can be folded and snapped with no effort. Some of the packages say 8% cobalt. Super hard but brittle. I like the 14tpi blades as a happy medium. Anyway I am rambling. Thanks for writing and keep in touch Devil Dog.
