Strength means absolutely nothing when fighting! It's all about speed and technique. You can be able to break through a rock wall with your finger, but if you aren't quick enough to block a sword thrust, you're just as dead as anyone.
Secondly, the guns are everything. You give the best trained soldier a gun that jams and you give me a pump action hunting shotgun at close range, and whose going to win? Sure it takes skill to fire a gun accurately, but that doesn't mean it's not cowardly.

what i like of troy, is that it was considered a fantasy, a legend, troy was not real and there was no battle, UNTIL an archeologist found troy's ruins and it all seems to be actually true and real. well, blades used to be carried by civilians and army back then. as for guns today only the army carries them and a few thieves. Back then you could'nt just go around stealing and threatning with your blade, because somebody that carried one would have put you in your place. You cannot do that with guns today, it would be a very rare case that the victim carries a gun as well... that is why swords were (still) are more civilized

Yes. One of the distinguishing characteristics of "good" development in civilization is that it is efficient and does not cause undue harm - such as an electric car or an apartment building. Each one has been called enormous developments in human development and obviously a characteristic of civilization. So I am correct, an efficient weapon is a useful weapon, like an apartment complex is useful for housing, and it doesn't cause undue harm, like an electric car.
