can someone give me some advice on how to start a band?? i need to now where to find band members . Oh and i just can't find people in my school that actually want a band as their future career. their all to scared that we won't get signed and stuff.

@xdwere1 The chances of you getting signed are slim. It really comes down to being in the right place at the right time, and having some connections. I would try to get members who are willing to put some time in to having a decent band, but who also have jobs that can help pay their bills. That way if you don't get signed you always have something to fall back on. When you have to rely on your music to pay bills, it's much harder to enjoy yourself. If you take off, then quit your job.

You'll have way more fun making music, because you won't have to worry about the next pay check, or your next gig. Then it will be way easier to find people willing to have fun and give it a try. No one should PLAN to have a band be their future career. Just make great music, and the rest will come.
