  • GAHHH this is the song i've been looking for for ages. YAY I found it!

  • @redstrabrerreez Yeah I spend half an hour looking for this realizing they used an instrumental version in the movie.

  • What is she saying?

  • So nice

  • Found this song at last! Watched the film yesterday and this particular song stuck with me.

  • Hi, does anyone know what language she's singing in?

  • @Radiomouse38 I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure it's made up.

  • @Radiomouse38 She isn't singing in ''a Language'' but ''Multiple languages''

  • Sugoii~

    :o

  • 2 moments in the bebop movie really stuck with me. there was the riverbank convo between spike and jet (and this music was playing). and then there was the convo between spike and electra in the holding cell with some sweet sweet music in the background as well. can't seem to find that particular track...

  • @ithurtz23 here you go: watch?v=v8A6bxtdDXw

it's called rouya, an arabic and iranian name, which approximately means "sweet dream".

  • @jeffplaysska

I'm not sure but I think it's "Is it real?" that you mean ^^

  • Words cannot describe the beauty of this song. I cannot describe this in any other way.

  • from 1:35 just makes me tear

  • 0 dislikes. Like God intended.

  • 53463(to date) and people and no one's disliked this? now that says something right there

  • was this played when Spike punches the street vendor before he gets arrested??

  • @jeffplaysska

umm don't know... but on the movie, it was played when spike was talking to jet on the riverbank after he survived being pushed out of the tram that exploded with vincent... it's a beautiful scene... i suggest looking it up on here :D

  • This true is something that has no purpose other then itself its only a minute but this is pure art

  • makes me sad and happy at the same time...don't know why...terrific

  • is anyone else obsessed with this song?

    absolute perfection.

  • i seriously doubt anyone is as awesome as Yoko Kanno...she must have an iq of 10,000

  • @thelaughingman79 i think it was 132 but thats still very very impressive

  • Proof that music is universal. Although i am unable to understand the words spoken here, it does not subtract from the beauty of the song. Music is such a wonderful art that people of all ages, cultures and styles can appreciate. It remains as one of the closest attempts humans have come to true beauty in this world full of imperfection.

  • the artist is singing in her own language, as in she made it up.

  • Sounds like latin, very beautiful.

  • i wish she gets into the international music industry. and compose for big names. and i SERIOUSLY hope fox lets her and the seatbelts work on the movie!

  • @Exfrogie I think they work off eachother. I wouldn't like it if anything changed x.x

  • @OdinsLoaf yeah but i've seen the movie, and you can't hear the singing and I thought it was just a melody, and it was better. But then, this is just me.

  • w3rd

  • sorry, i didn't realize that i wrote that like this...

what I meant, was that in the movie, you only hear the melody, the instruments, and not the voice.

I tought it was better that way.

  • @Exfrogie Yeah it was really good. perfect scene. maybe my favourite scene in the whole thing.

  • @Exfrogie

    no i don't think so

  • such a beautiful song, nothing more said.

  • does she actualy sing the song?

  • Sheet music?

  • time to favorite

  • hahaha nice ass comment.

  • wish it was longer : (

  • ditto

  • i love this melody

  • ZOMFG i have been looking for this song for so darn long! TY so much for sharing it. i first heard it in the movie and loved it ty!

  • Want a copy?

  • Freecorder...

  • This song gives me the chills. Like most of the songs composed by Yoko Kanno.

  • what are the lyrics?

  • Knowing Yoko Kanno, it's probably in her special language she made.

  • Lol its in Russian, Latin and French :) what a crazy woman.

  • She's a huge fan of Using Latin and Russian...this doesn't surprise me ^^
