Very easy answer, with demise of SV speedway and Milestone being in Riverside. Drifting and 1/8 racing is obviously better since there are numerous events that do not require a 1/5 scale track. Driving to Pismo or Milestone gets old pretty quick.

@GCRad1 IM American and i like trucks, but i dont really se drifting as a real sport, i mean racing can be trying to get the fastest lap you can, or just being better than the other guy but its strait forward no matter what, while drifting is more or less goofing around, and if your in a competition someone has to be the judge of whose better, i think its more of a talent show rather than a sport like Racing, but thats just my view on it, choose freely.

For me its about area. I would much rather an RC drift car since im into drifting and wrc rally more than trucks, but I live on a dairy out in the arizona desert about 20min away from any town, the only road by me is the highway, and other than my driveway I dont have any pavement to drift on. I do however have a couple thousand acres so building a badass 1/5 Trophy Truck track is very feasible.

I love both but where I live I can only do one. If I lived in a suburb tho, Id totally drift :P

Difference between 5b and 5t is?

5b has all the same stuff but its faster cause it has smaller wheels and a much smaller body... look up the 5b and thats pretty much what the 5t looks like when you take off the shell... 5t is alot heavier cause they added all this stuff to the 5b chassis

This is true when comparing the 5b SS to the 5t, as they both have the upgraded engine (from 23cc to 26cc), upgraded dogbones, upgraded gears, and the 5b SS has less weight from the factory. Also the 5b SS sports the expansion chamber whereas the 5t ships with the "high flow muffler". The 5b standard however would probably be just a little slower than the 5t and with less durability than either the 5b SS or the 5t.
