The corruption and greed runs so deep, that there are no easy fixes. Long term solution would be total campaign finance reform, making it next to impossible for big industry to buy off politicians or regulatory agencies in the first place. However, this is NOWHERE on the horizon, as the recent SCOTUS decision makes clear: it gives even MORE power to corporate lobbies. Short term: yes, BP should pay for ALL the damage - they must be made an example of. It's now or never...
@55ella2007k continued: but, realistically? no, this will not happen, because of the aforementioned corruption. The problem is systemic, i.e. laisse fare capitalism and greed on every level.
@fckuvrymch You are right about the blame, we all use gas and oil, lets face it this country is dependent on it. We haven't used a gas mower in years now we use a push mower. We drive less and less in fact my husband rides his bike to work as much as possible. And well my car sits in the drive way most of the week. And we try to grow our own food as much as possible. Everyone needs to do their part.
@fckuvrymch The line of thinking on this is dangerous. We are under attack and more false flags are coming. So of course the WHO is very important. I agree about oil and I help promote Hydrogen as a replacement. Electric cars are VERY bad for the environment and require slave like labor to mine the rare minerals. Much of which is going to be excuse to abuse and stay in Afganistan now. The Elite want to encite a reaction from the public similar to this as they control Media.
All the exercises they do are turning into true. They did a oil rig exercise. Guess what happens? Next up is Blackjack and Cyber Shockwave. All the elite banks where dumpinng stock and Hailburton was buying up all the oil firefighting companies. This is a very sloppy false flag. The southern states are under attack by the new world order.

@vashguud i have been chasing these "false flags" for three years. its a big carrot under the mules nose.
lets just say... you know for a fact who is to blame. what are you going to do different?
think long term worse case scenerio and you are covered, right?
think about most of the issues that are being debated.
what is the point, really?

@vashguud (cont') i am not saying we are powerless.
i am saying we need to be thinking very carefully about how we as individuals utilize the power we have.
dont waste time and energy arguing pointless points.
