  • This is almost too much here. Desplat is just a master at conjuring up these emotions that hit you like a wave. You don't quite know where it comes from, but you know it is there, and it won't be denied. Beautiful is not a strong enough description for this cue and the entire score. I can listen to this score everyday and not even come close to tire from it. Brilliant all the way through.

  • i can see his age change clearly on the video

  • should have won the oscar for music

  • @MrVideo32

THANK YOU!!! I hate the slumdog millionaire theme, it's Synthesizers, auto tune and crappy music, not classic like this.

  • The music is sad yet happy at the same time.

It should have won over stupid Slumdog Millionaire

  • @MrVideo32

    I AGREE!!!

  • I watched this movie last year (2009) in February and I really want it on DVD after all this time of not seeing it. This is and most likely will be one of my if not my favourite film. While they both move on in life so does the rest of the world. cos im only young it gives me an opportunity to see what the world was like. Beautiful film

  • @kingofkeyboards Can u explain what u mean about them both moving on in life? i'm trying to understand your perspective here.

  • @nacyz77 well during the film they meet when benjemin is an old man on the outside but a young child on the inside and daisy is a young girl then they grow up whilst benjemin is getting younger on the outside he is getting older on the inside and daisy is aging normally. the world is changing throughout the story like the 1969 space mission which is featured and other historical landmarks. they eventually get together then when daisy is an old women benjemin dies in here arms. ran out space :-)

  • i cried watching this movie. it was moving. loved it. :)

  • Thanks for posting this! It's great!

You wouldn't happen to know the name of the song at the very end of the movie?

Its just a piano and its also the song that Benjamins piano teacher teaches him near the start of the film...

if you could help me out it would be great!

  • That song is Bethena, by Scott Joplin.

  • Ending always gets me big time. A Mona Lisa cinematic masterpiece.
