Safer to drink the snow than the water. PG is one of three communities that still put fluoride(industrial waste) in the water and refuse to remove it and spent nearly 500K a few years ago to expand it to parts of the city which never had it before. Worst air quality in B.C., and some of the worst water in B.C. unfortunately.

The vast majority of the western industrialized world began to use fluoride as a means to prevent dental problems back in the '60s before it was commercially added into toothpaste. Fluoride is a derivative of fluorine that naturally occurrs in most water sources and is the 19th most common element in the earth's crust, NOT industrial waste.
