  • You'll have to come back and have another go?

    Mike

  • Great to see this. I was a very keen C/L flyer at Scratchwood in the early 70's - used to be a member of Finchley DMAC. Great memories!

  • Thats an offer I cant refuse Mike. I'll try and make it to your next meeting at scratch' (seen dates in BMFA news) Paul.

  • Hi velopaul,,

Sratchwood is still used about 4 times a year for comps, its a nice site and now has concrete runways and centre standing areas. Our combat team (three kings) where talking about using it more as its a top site.

Do you still live in the same area? your more than welcome to join up with us and I am sure I have a model you can fly,

    Thanks for the kind comments,,

    Regards

    Mike

  • Top video. I also virtually lived at the scratchwoods C/L site in the late 60's. Great to see present interest here and around the world...now where's that olly/dominator I put in the loft ?

  • Its just a safty ruling that happened about 10 years ago, just in case a model flys into the circle,,!!

    Glad it interested you,,

    Mike

  • Reminiscent of many fun-filled afternoons when I was younger, but what's with the helmets?
