Just for you folk who dont know much about this drug ... it is also used to treat the debilating disease called Crohns disease.
After spending months in hospital with Crohns and after major surgery to remove some of the worst diseased sections of my bowel I was offered this drug by my specialist.
After weighing up the side effects it still seemed worth a go ... and I found it to be an awesome drug that gave me my life back. After less than 12 months on the drug I am now back to normal.

For 8 years, my mother was followed by a gastroenterologist who had found "pre-cancerous" cells in her esophagus during a routine upper endoscopy. Every year, she'd have biopsies of the area, and they were always benign. Her last non-malignant biopsy was in January 2011. Four months later, she started taking Humira. By September 2011, her pre-cancerous cells had become Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. Live with the 'embarrassment' of psoriasis people!
