Technically, if your TV can only do 1080i instead of 1080p, your max resolution is 720p, since 1080i is just 540p.

Since this cable transmits the video data to your tv instead of the PSP screen, it SHOULD work if your psp screen is broken if you hold the screen button down.

Also, why ask if your game will work? It's just picture to tv, it'll work with ANYTHING you do on the PSP.

hmm, a question, i was given a psp 1000 recently, the only problem is that the screen is broken, i was wondering, is it posable to do this for a 1000, and would it be worth it (since the screen is about 50% black, it's unplayable as is)

psp 1000 doesn't have video out. You'll need psp 2000 and up.

Oh yeah I forgot something. You can buy some parts that enables video out on the psp-1000, but requires you to open up the psp and modding some parts. Do a youtube search for "How to install a TV OUT module for PSP"

The output wires only works on PSP Slim and works on any TV, but you can only play PSP games on the TV with progressive scan which is anything with a "p" in the end like 720p for example.
