I thank myself for NEVER doing a drug in my 45 years on earth. I put the blame on our government, judicial system,& C.I.A. for the drug problem in america. Look people, there's 300,000,000 plus million people in this country & in order to supply say 100,000,000 you have to BRING IN TONS of fucking cocaine. Crack took my husband of 20 years away from me and my four boys, he spent time in rehab, 6 months, got out and used 8 weeks later,that was 5 months ago. I got addicted to oxycodone and morphine because i liked the high i got from opiates a lot better than the high from pot. I get paranoid and antisocial when i smoke pot. Opiates on the other hand, made me feel happy and energized. I guess it's all about preference. Some people would rather drink alcohol than smoke pot, while others would rather smoke pot than drink. They like the effect better.

I decided that i would try it just one time to know what it was like but i did't know one time would be too late. You don't know it at first but your hooked. Im clean now and helping others get clean as well but its just one stupid decision that goes way too far.

@sk8tafrnk Not going to lie so true, I drink because it gives me confidence and the anxiousness goes away temporarily, and pot is amazing but i get the munchies after which is a bitch because it doesnt help my bulimic tendencies (although pretty much over that now, its still in the back of my mind). I just don't want to try anything else because i know that I probably would get addicted. So just got to live with it and try and live as normal as possible despite the constant chatter in my head.
The real problem is not the drug, the problem is with the people that come across the drug and do not care about themselves enough to maintain control. I've put the pipe down and haven't touched a rock, a stem, or nothing for 3 months and im staying clean. The drug CAN kill you if you have heart defects or any kind of heart problem. If you only felt normal when you did drugs, and you could barely stand the feeling of being yourself for 5 minutes you'd be on drugs too.

I have ADHD so it's easy to sympathize with the maddening anxiety more serious mental disorders must entail.
I don't want drug addicts to have an excuse to do the drugs (which is the conclusion instantly pounced upon by morons who think addicts are "weak minded" ). If you have a better understanding of the REASONS people are addicted to drugs, the better chance they will have at recovery.

@sgtmjames That's actually not true. People with ADHD and ADD may have symptoms similar to OCD, but it's not. People with ADD and ADHD "stim," so that's where the compulsive behavior comes from.
90% of people with ANY mental disorder self medicate with substances. People with ADHD get anxiety, depression, and a ton of other symptoms that are related to other mental conditions, or could be mental conditions by themselves. It's stemming from the ADD/ ADHD. It makes it hard to diagnose sometimes.

Since I dont drink that often I do cocaine, or mdma or something else just once in a while. a person in this vdeo says its about chasing that first high for me thats not the case. I dont deplete myself and accept the consequence of feeling a bit depressed after. You gotta have some restraint our else that stuffcould really hurt you.
