I have the website design layout on dreamweaver and when I go to link an image to a page (eg the about button to the about page).

All the sliced pictures just spearate leaving white spaces between each other.

Why does this happen and how do I get rid of it??

How do you upload it to your webserver??

the easiest way is probably to use Apache webserver (webserver in your computer). Just bring those files to the htdocs folder(default).

Or if you have already a webserver somewhere, u should use some programs, like FileZilla etc. to upload your stuff.

i was looking around on gimp, and i found how you can make something a layer. you use the selection tool on what you want to be a layer, and right click the selection box, go to "edit >", "paste as >", and then select "new layer". :D

hey there is another way to center it in the design mode , you don't even have enter a coding....

step 1 . select everything in your design by holding Control + A or command + A on mac

step 2: Cut it , its kind of like what you do on photoshop

step3: enter a blank form through the insert menu

past 4 : past the design in the form and align it to the center.

and that will fix ya problem
