I have no problem with users asking for likes or favourites, if the video deserves it, I will give them it. I'd like to see more promotion of smaller youtubers though, if I'm helping some big youtuber onto the frontpage then the least they can do is mention someone they saw and liked.

YouTube is suppose be fun and enjoyable. It's not all about how many views or comments you have. Heck, I only have 20 or so views on my videos and only have 30 subscribers, but that doesn't matter to me. I just really like watching videos on YT. I absolutely can't stand it when people try to cheat the system. It's just plain dumb. Good content always seems to get buried. I wish Google would do something about it.
