I think because nowadays we have special double floors whereas back in the day it was just wood over concrete. You could really hear her when she was on the table, but I bet it didn't kill her knees, lol.

OLE! Amazing heelwork done in a small space. Some modernists would ridicule "old-time" flamenco like this, but this is what made me fall in love with the art.
