the epitomy of the point guard position was under Nash...this guy is quite possibly the most technically proficient player ever to play this game. No one can do what Nash does. It will be a sad day when he retires, since he is the last of the "true" point guards.

I can't remember who the other 2 players are(Magic Johnson & Reggie Miller I think), but Nash is 1 of 3 players in NBA history to shoot over 50% FG 40% 3pt FG & 90% Free Throws in the same season. And oh by the way, Nash has done it 3 out of the last 4 seasons. The 1 season he fell short was because of shooting .899 from the Free throw line. Meaning, he only needed to make 1 more FT that season. This year, he's on pace to do it again with .524 .474 & .957. Future HOF!!
Steve Nash is a testament to professional athletes -- you don't need to be able to play above the rim in order to be effective. This guy is just amazing because of his basketball IQ alone. Throw in his work ethic in the gym and you see the results: great shot, great dribble, amazing passing. His one quality I'd say that might be unteachable -- his hand-eye coordination.
jst to give a few, he is an excellent offensive player ( elite 3 point clutch shooter, and he can penetrate and deliver a sick left hand lay up or a 3 inch fade away rainbow below the ring., also an elite mid range clutch shooter..) , his dribbling if not elite is wayy above ave.

Lastly kobe guarded westbrook and rondo in these last playoffs so explain why he didnt guard nash or williams who are 2 much better pgs. Also rondo is the 4rth best player on his team steve his number 1. And the celtics didnt beat the lakers either so how is he better? Cant shoot better, cant pass better,cant control the tempo better, hes not better!

That was probably the weakest basketball the nba had for a long time. The 1st spurs ring and lakers 3 where so bad. All the greats were getting old and all teh young stars getting injured. Grant hill,mcdyss,brandon,houston and so on. I mean after the lakers beat the pacers in the finals 4 of there players retired.

the epitomy of the point guard position was under Nash...this guy is quite possibly the most technically proficient player ever to play this game. No one can do what Nash does. It will be a sad day when he retires, since he is the last of the "true" point guards.

Steve Nash is incredible. I can't remember who the other 2 players are(Magic Johnson & Reggie Miller I think), but Nash is 1 of 3 players in NBA history to shoot over 50% FG 40% 3pt FG & 90% Free Throws in the same season. And oh by the way, Nash has done it 3 out of the last 4 seasons. The 1 season he fell short was because of shooting .899 from the Free throw line. Meaning, he only needed to make 1 more FT that season. This year, he's on pace to do it again with .524 .474 & .957. Future HOF!!

Steve Nash is a testament to professional athletes -- you don't need to be able to play above the rim in order to be effective. This guy is just amazing because of his basketball IQ alone. Throw in his work ethic in the gym and you see the results: great shot, great dribble, amazing passing. His one quality I'd say that might be unteachable -- his hand-eye coordination.
