Nearly all the Enthusiasts on the platform were breaking the yellow line/ yellow paving slabs. They're put there for a reason people! I'm a Driver and I see passengers standing too close to the line all the time, but this takes the mickey. Britain must be pretty casual. In America a train can't just blow through a level crossing without blowing his horn to warn oncoming traffic.

i guess it's hard to hold the camera steady while diving for cover. Looks like the cameraman made a sharp step to the right without thinking and ended up with a picture of the man in black while the ghouls were hoping to see dead people.

In Sweden we trust our protection systems (gates, lights, bells and so on), and if they break there are signals to tell the train driver it doesn't work. Also, the car drivers are supposed to look before crossing a road. It's very rare that accidents happen, and when they do, blowing the horn wouldn't help.

The worst are the drivers who go around lowered gates to try and beat the train.

I think the most accidents in Sweden are people committing suicide, or railroad workers that doesn't get out of the way.
