I personally like more the original studio version (or is it original? this seems to be closer the version they performed in Canadian TV before Martin Deller came in...) thanks to Hawkins' soft and more tuneful voice, as well as the production. Still this piece reaches some very spacey moments over the Black Noise version. And your video is very good-looking. Thanks for sharing!
Just wondering what version of 'Phasors' this is? sounds nothing like the original studio version and it sounds like Nash the Slash on vocals...strange one
It's definitely Nash. I got it a few years ago from a mix-cd a friend of mine made me. I have the original studio version from FM's first album, but I adore this version slightly more. They are both great, but I just love Nash's vocals. Both he and FM do not get enough love.
@lilnumo101 I realize your question is one year old, but as far as I know, Nash's version of "Phasors on Stun" was released on the "Lurid, Livid and Live Vol. 3: Halloween" VHS. As I've never viewed it (it's long out of print), I can't verify it, but the song does appear on the tracklist. I don't know what kind of video content it has to accompany it. It doesn't sound live, does it?
