Obama needs to thank his lucky stars for affirmative action and racial quotas. Otherwise, Obama would be washing toilets somewhere, which is what he really should be doing.
If it wasn't for Harvard's affirmative action policy, Obama wouldn't have made it into "Chicago Tech." He doesn't even know how many States there are.
I haven't read all the posts--but you are so wrong about Dems and the troops (I'm married to one! Met him working at the Vet Ctr.I am as "liberal" as they come--aSocialist, in fact..we ARE the troops! But this is the first time poor people have had to pay for it, too!
My problem with the Democratic Party is that it has been dominated by anti-American, anti-troops activists at least since the 1970s.
Guys like Barack Obama, Dick Durbin, and John Kerry have nothing but contempt for the troops.
Durbin compared the troops to Nazis, Kerry implied that the troops serving in Iraq were stupid, and Obama refuses to even visit the troops (sorry, a little visit in 2006 doesn't cut it.)
Well Castor I disagree with the spirit of your post, whether Obama visited us or not doesn't matter to me. He voted in favor of this improved GI Bill, and that's more support than a walk around. McCain, and Cornyn voted against the bill, and Bush stated that he'll veto it. It's a clear choice for me. I honorably served, I'm voting for Obama.
If you love Bush you need to understand that we are being attacked economically by the Saudis as the Saudis rejected stupid Bush request for extra oil production! In other words you Bush lovers need to shut up!
Also, Bush wants you forget the July 4th terrorist attack on the El Al airlines at LAX. And the Anthrax attacks in 2002. Both of these were terrorist attacks.
AP - Senate Republicans broke with Pres. Bush to aid Democrats add support for veterans and the unemployed to a bill paying for another year of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The 75-22 vote on S.22 also added funds such as heating subsidies for the poor and fighting wildfires.
The vote on the domestic add-ons was a rebuke to Bush who promised to veto the measure if it contains the domestic measures. However, the president still has enough GOP support in the House to sustain a veto.
Mr. Blank Stare is also my senator, I'm sad to say. As a veteran, I look forward to helping with his defeat and getting a real American in there, Rick Noriega, who will work FOR us veterans, not against us.
We need to dump Sen. Hutchison even more. She disgraced her state by taking the 5th Amendment WRT using OUR tax dollars to finance her campaign. SHAME! They both have to go. Perhaps they will just do the right thing and resign in disgrace.
VoteVets.org is just a liberal scam any vet that belongs to this should be ashamed. Union backed and socialist run. Disgusting.

Let's review Obama's first eighty days in office. Obama has done the following:
1. Packed his cabinet with tax evaders and lobbyists.
2. Supported huge pork barrel spending and tax increases.
3. Insulted disabled kids.
4. Attempted to force wounded Vets to pay for their own health care.
5. Given terrorists in Iraq our withdrawal date.
6. Adopted a policy of appeasement with Iran.
Way to go VoteVets. America's enemies thank you.

Obama graduated with a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard.
Do you not understand what it means to graduate magna cum laude?

grazon - Do you understand that Harvard simply hands out A's to guys like Obama? It's called "Harvard's Affirmative Action Policy".
CastorT64 3 years ago
You know that's what people assumed about Clarence Thomas when he graduated from Yale.
He still considers people who assume you got a degree just because you're black to be assholes.

By the way, grazon, be sure to tell your master, George Soros, that he's wasting his money. This election is already over.
Get used to saying, "President McCain and Vice President Palin." :)
CastorT64 3 years ago
Oh the election is almost over alright.
McCain picked a person he's only met twice.
And all that shit talking about how Obama lacks experience?
Palin has been governor for a short amount of time.

Let's see, this is the same Democratic Congress that voted to cut off funding to the troops immediately after it took office.
Now, in an election year, this same Democratic Congress decides that it "loves the troops" after all.
Give me a break! This Congress is a joke and so is VoteVets.

why doesn't it count? he was there, wasn't he? how could you say Kerry doesn't support troops, he was one himself who fought nobely in Vietnman.
You've misinterpreted meanings....careful, the republican ignorance in you is showing.

Good ad by VoteVets. Cornyn is my hapless Senator. He can not think for himself, but marches only to the tune of the White House.
